  • Gettingready 23 degrees is swelteringly hot. Do you lounge around in your swimsuit and sarong? I know you are a willing slave to your pusscats but there's no need to go mad or beggar yourself: they're the ones wearing luxurious fur coats 24/7

My thermostat hasn't clicked the boiler on for ages, its ten degrees outside here which is amazing!

Its warm enough to start planting seeds for next year but i know that if i do that then the temperature will plummet and i don`t want to tempt fate :rotfl:

Thank me. :D I bought a snow shovel in September and my Oh says we won't get snow now that i've got one - couldn't get one last year for love nor money - had to use a garden spade! We've only had a smattering so far. Not enough to use the shovel on. I said to my OH i'd buy another one if it guaranteed no snow!

13C here. Got the windows wide open to air the house for a couple of hours.
  • Three degrees lower in less than 24 hours? Steady on girl, carry on like that and you'll be giving the menagerie frost-bite. A vest!

Bitter and Twisted - I am always cold...... despite having 4 cats and my GS on the bed with me...

No idea how you all do it, honest....

    But I am trying.....

Last year had my thermostat at 18 and was always cold....

Yes, yes, will wrap up ;)

think of a motivation...e.g. think of how much you could feed a rescue cat with savings made by turning your thermostat EVENTUALLY to 18. Don't do it all at once, you'll be uncomfortable and miserable. Gradually one aclimatises. I have low thyroid and run quite cold, but I'm generally ok now well wrapped up in side.
