Gettingready 23 degrees is swelteringly hot. Do you lounge around in your swimsuit and sarong? I know you are a willing slave to your pusscats but there's no need to go mad or beggar yourself: they're the ones wearing luxurious fur coats 24/70

My thermostat hasn't clicked the boiler on for ages, its ten degrees outside here which is amazing!
Its warm enough to start planting seeds for next year but i know that if i do that then the temperature will plummet and i don`t want to tempt fate :rotfl:

ours is still mainly off. its one of the few times i feel happy about living in a small mid terraced house (I guess thats the reason it doesn't get too cold!)0

Thank me.I bought a snow shovel in September and my Oh says we won't get snow now that i've got one - couldn't get one last year for love nor money - had to use a garden spade! We've only had a smattering so far. Not enough to use the shovel on. I said to my OH i'd buy another one if it guaranteed no snow!

Three degrees lower in less than 24 hours? Steady on girl, carry on like that and you'll be giving the menagerie frost-bite. A vest!0

No idea how you all do it, honest....
But I am trying.....
Last year had my thermostat at 18 and was always cold....

think of a motivation...e.g. think of how much you could feed a rescue cat with savings made by turning your thermostat EVENTUALLY to 18. Don't do it all at once, you'll be uncomfortable and miserable. Gradually one aclimatises. I have low thyroid and run quite cold, but I'm generally ok now well wrapped up in side.0
