  • Heatings deffo off in our house. It's so warm it's amazing for the time of year espesially. Just have our usual candles lit :D :j
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)
  • Mine has been on for the past two days. If it was just us I would have left it off but we have our two mums staying. My Mum has had a nasty bout of viral arthritis and needs to be warm or she seizes up and MIL is 91. When they go home later it is going back off because it really is mild for the time of year.

It frustrates me that I can not have greater control over my heating, it has numbers one to 6 and I would rather it had a finer level of control.
Mine is the same, it's set at about 3 but I haven't got a clue what temperature that is? I'd love to be able to set a thermostat at 18 or something so it kicked in then but all we've got is the dial on the actual boiler so I just switch the heating on as and when we need it. DS and partner have been up for Christmas from London so the heating has been on a little more than usual, I didn't want his partner to think we lived in a constant state of frost :o but they've gone back home today so the heating is off. :D

I'm so pleased it's been much milder so far this year, when I think back to the snow and cold last year I wonder how I managed to pay for all the heating we used.

Heating does not kick in as set to 18 degrees on thermostat but it shows I have 20.5 indoors so not kicking in....

May buy another thermometer though and put it somewhere else in the flat, do not trust the one that connects to CH as it is right opposite a radiator in the hallway...

Not on at all yesterday, and only for a couple of hours on Christmas Day. It has been lovely and sunny here today and managed to get some washing out. It is much colder now and so it has gone on.

    Have a lovely evening.

It's not a sticker. I have one in the kitchen and one in the livingroom. I got them free through the door from these people. http://www.scarf.org.uk/ Don't know how you'd get one though.

We took the dogs to the beach today, there was a chill in the wind but not to bad at all.The heating went on for a hour when we got home,it felt cold after being in the warm car on the motorway.
  • Havent used my heating for a year - thats what socks, blankets, hot-water bottles and unfashionable jumpers given to you for Christmas are for.
My gas company hates me - I pay a fixed DD and they currently owe me £75!
