No heating on at the moment. It has been sunny and breezy here today, lovely to see the washing blowing outside. Just starting to feel a bit nippy now so will most likely be on in the next hour.

Well, it is 20 indoors so heating did not kick in - all windows open and still in a vest and jogging bottoms.

Lovely weather today in my part of the island :)

Last year this time I was holding to a lamp post trying to hold my GS and keep her from eating a lab alive - who's owner was holding on to another lamp post. We had so much snow and it was so slippery... today it feels like summer.

It's been soooo mild here in London both yesterday and today, that I've managed with minimum heating. It's off now, for instance. Just as well, so the saving can to towards a really cold spell if/when we get one. :)
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

yes, they were, and the cats have been happy too. Outside the horses didn't come in all day, eating grass- barely touched hay this week.....I have the same haynets up as I hung on sunday, where as normally I'd expect to be replenishing twice, maybe three times daily.

lol, quite the reverse here, because we've been lounging we are feeling the cold more. woodburner has been on everyday. My dad came to stay for christmas and feels the cold keenly, so we put an electric heater in the spare room and in the dining room. Its been a shame to heat the house when its so mild, and worse, that we are ''softening''.

18, IMO, is a fair temperature. Neither ''cold'' or wanting, nor ''wasteful'' of energy or money. Its the lower end of recommended temps for living areas....and so I think its a good temperature to be heating to.
