Mine's still off and it's staying off.
Had a metering reading the other day and a new gas bill today.
I quite like it... just a shame i still own them so the monthly payments are a lot higher than the bill.0 -

I have my heating on in the evenings, keeps the house toasty all day (noticed this when I came in at about 6pm this eve - before my heating came on).
In contrast, my sister who has an identical house on the same street refuses to switch her heating on at all and it is freezing...the woman is so tight-fisted that she refused to switch the heating on even after the huge snowdump we had the Saturday before Christmas last year . I spent 6 hrs driving home (a 30 mile journey) that day to be advised by her to "wear a jumper if you are cold".Nothing wrong with that.

I've been putting it on for 45 mims every morning while we have showers & for 45 mins around 4.30pm so it's warm when OH & son get home.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

Bar the electric convection fire going on in the lounge for a couple of hours two weeks ago, we have still not yet put our gas CH on, and can honestly say that we have not yet felt the cold.
OK we have a modern 90's built semi, and wear fleeces in the evening, but we have just not felt the need, its been so mild here.
A hot water bottle in the bed at night takes the chill off nicely.
As I write this its 18.7 in and 14.9 out. Lets hope it stays this way, this time last year the heating had already been on for four weeks.0 -
I can`t believe how warm it is, just had to double check the gizmo as i didn`t believe my eyes, its 12 outside and 18 inside.
I wish that we had some sun though, its dreary outside and keeps raining so i can`t put the washing out.
Scheming Gypsy - I want your gas billThats amazing well done, my pilot light probably uses more than that
I`ve left the stat as it was as the boiler won`t click on until the temperature falls. Hope this milder weather carries on all the way through winter
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0
