    I've been Money Tipped!
It was eight degrees according to the car themomtre this morning, really very cold. The afternoon was baking though, but the inside of my house stubbornly has refused to warm up. :(

Still off but I have been watching QVC in bed, Liz Earle and Yankee candles fave items, so not needed to use any heating today.

Looks like the "Old Farts Club" has a growing membership :D

Went to to -3 overnight here!

    Still off though. :)

Wow! i really feel for you.

It did go down to 5 degrees here an hour ago but has now risen to 6 which seems a bit strange.

I was out in the garden earlier looking at all the flowers that have decided that spring is here with the earlier warm spell. I really need to get all my pointy peppers picked soon too or the frost will get them.

Candles are lit and the room is cosy, i`ll be off to bed shortly :D

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

I had to turn the heating off at 8pm. It went on at 6pm. It usually cools down very quickly but it's still warm. I can't believe the difference with the insulation. My son had his radiator on at number 2 and his bedroom heated up to 26C! That's the reason I had to turn it off. I'd have turned it off sooner but I was out working.

Rather chilly here today, but I managed to keep warm until about an hour ago when I had to put a small electric fire on, on low, and on a timer to come on for 15 minutes every hour. I have a nasty sinus infection which brings on a bit of fever, and I really don't want to risk jeopardising my health for the sake of a few pounds. :o
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.
  • It's never worth jeopardising your health Q !

Still off here in North West and had a lovely day to dry clothes too!
I think [STRIKE]tomorrow[/STRIKE] today is meant to be nice too :D
Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker :)

No central heating on here yet - apart from when the boiler had it's annual service, but we did put the gas fire on in the sitting room for about an hour last night as it got quite chilly. OK so far today, but think we'll probably have to do the same again this evening.

Sunny here but temps have droped there's a nip in the air.Heating will be off and the throws and hot water bottle will be on with the added extra of to little warm dogs to cuddle up to.
