On, as I predicted it would me. I didn't anticipate I'd be having an outside swim to save a chicken in the slurry, though...chicken and I both need some warmth now!

    OMG! Care to elaborate???!!!

In fact, its anther reason, generally, to keep the heating low. Because I go in and out of the weather all day a heated house would make me look MUCH older than I have to! :)

omg you poor thing and poor strawberry! i hope you don't mind the fact that after reading your story i'm now having trouble breathing from laughing so hard! the neighbour seeing you there nude with chicken... makes you wonder if the powers that be were bored today and used you for their amusement doesn't it? :p

glad to hear you're both warm, dry, smelling fresher and with softer skin... maybe you should sell your slurry to a local spa!

I'm thrilled you're laughing. I'm considering starting a blog so positive reactions are encouraging, and tbh, that's just another day in the life out here. Albeit a particularly stinky one.:D

Heating off and house airing to clear the nights condensation! It IS cold but at least its a nice dry cold, my joints aren't complaining as much as they have been in the damp weather. Because its drier its less slippery underfoot outside too. It was harder to get out of bed this morning though, but once outside it was crisp and delightful. After being outside for a while coing back in feels warm even though the windows have been open, so I'll be fine for a while. I'm certain it will go on later though, maybe for an hour when the windows are closed and then this evening for a bit.

edit: windows closed now, they were open for about three, three and a half hours. Luckily the sun is shining brightly and instead of putting the heating on I've just put a small heater on for the cat upstairs. The other cats are ok, and the dog that doesn't like the cold has her suit on and is ok. :)

What a beautiful day in West Yorkshire, the sun is shining and the sky is blue. It is cold but Im still warm from my bath. Unfortunately my sciatica is still playing up and I cant stand for more than a couple of minutes. Will have to start planning Christmas as I have very few presents bought, DH will have to be incharge this year.

Wrap up folks if you venture out, I would love to join you, I love wrapping up and going out on days like this - clears the sinuses, maybe next time.

    Take care
