Still off here...and I think it is quite warm really today so we be able to manage the whole winter if it carries on like this.

not sure where you live but snow is expected (90% or higher prediction) on thurs and fri for the midlands, parts of scotland (where i live) even up in orkney and all of ireland, republic and northern ireland...

nice dream but i don't know you're gonna make it :p

The weather up your way always seems alot worse than here in the south west. The heats still off but its a dark cold and damp day,i may need to put it on to have a shower tonight before i go to work will see how brave i'm feeling later. The forcast for next week may mean i'm not going to last till 1st dec as i was hoping, still i have already gone past first target of nov 1st so hopfully will have saved a good bit.
    Keep warm everybody

    Hi

Off now but will come on later.
Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j

  • Think I could be said to have succumbed. Mine's been on for the odd hour, am's and pm's, but today has been on for a couple of hours already and will be so till I go out at about 8. After a meal out I'm usually ok to just race in and get into pj's before I realise that it's cold.. But it's too cold now to exist without it, at least for a couple of hours a day :( Still, at least all the cats are happy..

    Cheers

I've just been upstairs to set the timer to come on earlier, it's flipping freezing. Between 10 and 12 degrees in living room.

On today, as we have been cleaning the carpets and now need to dry everything out. Its a shame because its felt milder today.

CH went on (daytime only) a couple of days ago. :( The house was feeling so chilly and uncomfy unheated and I just haven't been shaking off my cough properly.

DS1 has a friend staying tonight and that's my excuse to have given the whole place a really good warm up. We will keep it at 16 degrees or so when we are in, and off overnight, from now on, unless we have guests and then we will turn the heat up and pretend that lovely and warm is the norm!

Keep warm everyone. (Oh, and our local Mr S has some nice new colours of fleece in stock: deep red, duck-egg blue etc for anyone still looking. They cost a fiver, but the colours are nicer than IKEA's I think.)
