    Hi

    Still off in London. :j:)

  • Still off here too :)

Did a wash last night, mostly school uniform and the DG windows were dripping this morning :(

Washing is now outside as its a lovely sunny day though cloud and heavy rain forecast later, windows are wide open too :D It is quite cold today though temperature said 15 when we got up but is lower now that all of the windows are open.

Boys haven't moaned yet and have vests, jumpers and jeans on.

It will have to get really uncomfortable for us to have the heating on, will start with the oil radiator in the living room first. Our rooms aren't very big so we are lucky in that respect :)

Still OFF here so far today, layered up with a thick top and also have the windows open upstairs with the washing attempting to dry outside!

Can I last another evening without it? Let me see how I get on!

Just brought my washing in and it's not quite dry. I've closed all my windows now and it is feeling pretty chilly. Good luck with trying to last another evening without heating but I've a feeling ours will be going on, or at least the fire in living room.

It has dropped a bit chilly here this evening. Washing has been out all day, but still wet. I've not had the heating on at all yet, but think the gas fire is about to go on in the lounge.
I am wearing a Tshirt, wool jumper and knitted poncho, but still feeling cool. Pleased to have lasted this long though!

Still off but fire is lit. It's cold this evening . rain is lashing on window and wind howling down chimney and I don't feel as cosy as I'd like to.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Mine's still off, but I'm relying on the electric blanket under the throw on the sofa. With another throw on top of me, and a gel hot water bottle the cats and I are warm as toast. On the cat topic, mine come up to bed when I go, and I think I will be taking gel hot bottles tonight as a bit extra for them. I have three, all about 12 years old, and they seem to survive ok, although I am more comcerned about them than I am about myself...

    Cheers

still off here too :T, although I find drying clothes a problem too, I had three loads on the line today, which have almost dried, a night on the airer should finish them off.

We recently had cavity wall insulation put in too, and I can feel a huge difference, our heating wont be on till we get a cold spell.

Just posted on another thread so please forgive the duplication, but there is a possibility of a bad storn on Sun/Mon, might be well to make sure everything is all tied down and safe.
