Today it's been colder and overcast with some rain.Getting home at 5pm it was 10c outside on the balcony.
Heating still off!0 -
Mines been off all day but i`ve put it on for an hour as i`ve just covered all the radiators in wet washing. The dehumidifier has been on today too, i left it running when i went to work as everywhere was streaming and it turned itself off as it was full
The temp outside is minus 1 and inside its now up to 18 degrees which suits me fine, i`ve just been baking too so the house not only feels nice but smells lovely too

We are in Yorkshire too Sunnyday and had streaming windows this morning, I opened the windows and it has cleared. DH put the heating on earlier but we switched it off after an hour. Got a bit warm getting the children sorted for school tomorrow, washing up after tea and putting ironing away. Will keep it off now. DH just left for work and I plan on having an early night. We have a dehumidifier which we use when we can't leave the windows open. Six people in a smallish house creates a lot of condensation.

I think that they will be the same for the next few days Pollys as the weather forecast is predicting some very low temperatures
I love having the upstairs windows open in the mornings but it doesn`t always clear the windows as the only parts that open are the tiny top windows on the sides of the bays.
The dehumidifier has been a godsend especially as i can`t leave the windows open when i go out to work.
I think that this time the cold weather will be here to stay but keep hoping that i`m wrong

I've just put mine on for the first time as I could really feel the cold and damp tonight. During the day is fine with the windows open to air the house. Closed them early afternoon and then a few hours later could feel the cold more than ever.
Have lasted the longest I have ever done until 6 November and had a bonus week as was originally aiming for 1 November and last year lasted until mid Oct. Not using the timer yet or setting it to come on in the morning until I can't stand the coldness! Will have to see how the westher forecast is over the next few weeks
Checked a couple this afternoon and looks like a couple of weeks will be milder then the cold will arrivefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

hang my head in shame our heating has been on  but if i had my way the heating would be off, my lot dont like it cold. Think we will need to buy a dehumidifier soon cos lots of condensation in the house. Tomorrow everybody at school and work heating will stay off as long as possible.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000
