OK we caved in for two nights (only on in the morning) thermo set @ 15deg, its off again and we're back on course for November!

Didn't even feel the need to use the convection heater in the lounge last night as it was so mild, if it stays this way we may go further into November before the CH gets a full blast!

Last night outside it dropped only to 12.1 and stayed at a balmy 14.5 in the coldest room, the kitchen. That's the warmest night for nearly three weeks, and right now its 14deg and rising outside!!!

still off here! its a lovely sunny day and i am considering taking my jumper off!!! :D

We did blast the heating for a bit yesterday evening as dh said their was a problem with the boiler and he didnt get any hot water for his shower yesterday but mine was fine this morning so it must have worked!!! :P And it means the washing dried so can get another load out. I did think dh would cave last night and put it on in the mornings but no, he has stayed strong! :D

And even the kids complained it was too hot when the heating went on yesterday!

Lovely sunny day so not hard to keep off, lets hope it lasts.
My capped tariff comes to a end in nov so i have had to switch, not quite so good i will be paying abit more but it's better than the new tariff i was being offered with SP .Last years winter quarter was £161 that was gas and electric i would like to keep it about the same so will have to cut back a bit more to allow for increase.

My house is well insulated and general warm my biggest prob is the conservertory Oh has started a new business and is using it as his office ,i really think its going to be to cold with out any heat ,when the suns out its lovely and warm no matter how cold it is outside the trouble is we dont have winter sun everyday. He will eventually move upstairs to spare bedroom but at the moment i work nights so he would keep me awake .I know at some point i am going to be made redundent although we have not been told offically we know its going to happen prob about march april which will be after the worst weather,so its even more inportant to save where we can with any luck he'll have so much work coming in he won't have time to sit out there ,i can but hope:rotfl:

well, last year we made it till november, but this year we've had it on for 4.5 hours, over 3 days so far... once in the evening as even with hottie bottles it was too cold to sleep, once for shower and to help dry the sheets that just wouldnt dry and once because i had a mortgage advisor round and didnt want him thinking the house was awefull! :rotfl:

It's a lovely day here today so no problem keeping it off. At the moment it's 18.9 degrees in the living room so very warm and I got too hot in bed last night! Long may it continue

Had the heating on for a wee while this morning as it was damp and chilly. Have just had the wall heater on most of the day as it is quite mild.
Got a full load of washing almost dry on the line so very pleased with no TD today.
May need the heat in for an hour at bedtime just to take the chill off.
Watching it all much more carefully these days.
