:rudolf:Not been tempted yet!! Kids haven't complained either - but it has been really mild here, still getting the wash out and dried easily. Hoping for another few weeks ...lol
  • Had it on last night for a half hour as it was freezing when we came home, but its off again today. I have an airlock though, but its getting serviced on Thursday so that should sort that out.

My heating is... (drumroll please) ...off! Though I suspect my OH has had a sneaky 5 minutes here and there when I've been at work.

Ours is still off - and my DH doesn't even know how to switch it on :rotfl:(luckily, otherwise he would be sitting in shorts and short sleeves with the heating on, which is obviously madness! :rotfl:)

Another glorious day to day and as the sky was red in the west at sunset, I'm hoping for the same tomorrow too. No heating at all! :j:j

Ours is still off at the moment, and hoping to hold out for a bit longer yet, but I did have to put my slippers and thick fleecy dressing gown on this morning, as it was freezing when I got up!

Still off. Though it's quite chilly tonight indoors, i'm not putting the heating on. We have our blankets over us and i have my laptop on my knee so that is generating quite a lot of warmth too. I'd like to get to November without switching it on but i won;t be a martyr, if it needs to go on it will go on. Today was a clear and sunny day though and it near enough dried 2 loads of washing. Yay for gorgeous autumnal weather.

I rarely post here although read a lot but felt compelled to! :)

Well we had it on a fair bit last month - usually just a few hours in the evenings but not every evening. Then we got logs for our log fires a couple of weeks ago. I'm here Mon-Fri atm and am ashamed to say I put the heating on twice last week in the day but in the evenings we have just had log fires.

Tonight we had a log fire in one room and it has got a bit nippy in the rest of the house but I'm currently in bed with a hot water bottle at my feet. I'm hoping we can avoid using the heating as much as possible. We are still paying off the heating bill from our last house (moved in July) and owe about £300! :(

It would be off if I could stop OH turning it to constant and then leaving it on....I am usually busy so don't feel the cold and only notice heat when I start to melt....think that constant switch might have an accident soon!
