My heating is the burner and an oil fired radiator upstairs. Even though, according to the weather man, last week was much colder than this, the upstairs heating has gone on and the burner is going full blast. I have no idea why I feel so cold tonight but its not good!!!
  • Still off here in Co Durham, but I think I've only managed that cos OH is away this week (he feels the cold and moans lol)

We've had a sleeping bag on the sofa to snuggle under for some weeks now, and I've upgraded that to a 11.5 tog duvet at the weekend. I also relented and swapped the duvet on the bed to the Autumn 9 tog, though initially that was too hot for me - OH was fine.

We're wearing hoodies and joggers round the house now. I hope to keep it off for another week at least, but we'll have to see.

CH is on thermostat so has come on a few times recently but put gas fire on for first time today (after a hasty rearrangement of living room to put up fire guard). It was lovely and cosy :-).

Off here, and still have the summer duvet on the bed, but this evening I am wearing a fleece in the house. The CH is on thermostat set at 16 but hasn't come on yet.

My heating is still off but it is cold here in North Staffs. I am trying to hold out until October before i switch it on, but i'm not going to be silly about it, if it needs to go on then it will.
