Had to just put it on i have an ickle 5 year old and his bedroom was cold!
  • I'm in SE london and I felt really chilly all day.

Mind you I have picked up a nasty cold from my travels so that probably explains why

It's cold here in London too. Got a fleece on, thick socks and a blanket to snuggle under while watching tv...stay as warm as you can everyone

It's still off but we're in London so it's always a little warmer and we are in a block so we 'share' their heating - some have it on all year! I did, however, test it on Friday - better to check than hear a Gloink noise and have to replace the boiler in the depths of winter!
We have that in our flats. We have never had our heating on and I don't think my flatmate has ever had the radiator on in the 20 yrs he has lved here. Got pretty darn cold last winter tho..

Definitely a chill in the air - this morning when DD10 came downstairs in her PJs to have her breakfast, I had a hot water bottle ready and she wrapped herself up in a throw and watched TV for 20 minutes quite happily - I find that targeted heating is much more efficient than heating the whole house - the OH was still tucked up in bed, the other DD was also still in her bed as she was ill and not getting up for school and I was dressed and busy so there was really no need for the whole house to get roasting!

No heating here as yet. This is when the cat starts to come in useful and actually GIVE SOMETHING BACK after all the food, litter and vet bills costs!:)

Nothing like a toasty, slightly overweight cat for keeping you warm!:)

I have cuddles with my newborn for heat - he's like a hot water bottle!

Just had a nap and have woken up and its so cold! Just gonna do a quick dash round and close all curtains then have a sneaky cuddle.

Got slipper socks, slipper boots, trackies and a nice big hoodie on.

Pulled my winter boots and cardi's out the wardrobe earlier! It won't be long before the heatings on!
