I'm in SE london and I felt really chilly all day.
Mind you I have picked up a nasty cold from my travels so that probably explains whyMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
It's cold here in London too. Got a fleece on, thick socks and a blanket to snuggle under while watching tv...stay as warm as you can everyoneWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

It's still off but we're in London so it's always a little warmer and we are in a block so we 'share' their heating - some have it on all year! I did, however, test it on Friday - better to check than hear a Gloink noise and have to replace the boiler in the depths of winter! What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0

Definitely a chill in the air - this morning when DD10 came downstairs in her PJs to have her breakfast, I had a hot water bottle ready and she wrapped herself up in a throw and watched TV for 20 minutes quite happily - I find that targeted heating is much more efficient than heating the whole house - the OH was still tucked up in bed, the other DD was also still in her bed as she was ill and not getting up for school and I was dressed and busy so there was really no need for the whole house to get roasting!December GC: £3500

No heating here as yet. This is when the cat starts to come in useful and actually GIVE SOMETHING BACK after all the food, litter and vet bills costs!:)
Nothing like a toasty, slightly overweight cat for keeping you warm!:)Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
