It's still off but we're in London so it's always a little warmer and we are in a block so we 'share' their heating - some have it on all year! I did, however, test it on Friday - better to check than hear a Gloink noise and have to replace the boiler in the depths of winter!

I could make it better myself at home. All I need is a small aubergine...

I moved to Liverpool for a better life.
And goodness, it's turned out to be better and busier!

We have had ours on a couple of times in the evenings to take the chill away. I am trying to wait until it gets switched on with the timer going, although it was cold when I had my shower this morning so I may not be able to wait that long

I rarely put my heaters on, even in the dead of winter. I'm still sleeping with the windows open! I live in a highrise so I get everyone else's heat travvelling up. Good for the gas bill except I have to pay a set amount each week so don't actually save anything by not putting the heating on!
  • My heating is still off. I managed to last til last week in October last year. I might have managed a few days longer but I was babysitting my grandson, then aged 16 months, and worried about him being cold. So far I think it has been much warmer this autumn or maybe I'm just getting used to a cold house. Mine is a modern house so should be fairly well insulated but is a detached so no neighbours to keep me warm.
  • Mine is off at the moment. I was at work yesterday when OH said he'd put the heating on as he was feeling chilly. WOuldn't mind, came home he was wearing a sleeveless top!!!! Told him to put a jumper and I turned the heating off!
Not going on when we can put an extra layer on!

This flat is so different to the one I was in last year - not only is my heating off but my balcony door is open because the lounge is so hot!
    Long may it last :)

    Have you tried bleeding them?

Yup..think its a case of balancing them, or so a plumber told me...never seem to be able to get them all piping hot though

  • Heating still off here in SW London. Today has been rainy but fairly warm and I have my back door open! Hope it lasts and we can keep the bills down
