My heating is on at 18 as soon as I get up - if I feel cold it goes up to 19 but stays on all day until I go to bed when I turn it down to 15. Looked at my account today and we are £520 in credit - I can't stand being cold. I am paying £75 a month on gas.

And it's going to get colder soon so mine could well go on 24 hours a day

I have built up a good credit for this very reason and I don't expect to go into debit
  • I have had the heating on again for two hours this evening as well. I realised I feel chilly because I have had industrial dehumidifiers in my house for about a month and they were taken away yesterday. They really did throw out a lot of heat which I sadly miss.

I think I will start putting my own dehumidifier (not industrial sized!) in the room to dry my laundry on the rack. I read that tip on this forum. :)
