Yesterday was ok in the morning but it turned quite wet and windy after lunch with thunderstorms and it was really dark indoors by 15:00, mixed bag today without much sun but enough to get the temp just over 16 in the afternoon from just below it in the morning - still hanging on in short sleeves but need more on outside now

Got the kitchen storage heater on 3/4 and currently 20C in here. I put the bedroom one on the lowest setting for the first time this year and woke up to a toasty 14.7C. Everywhere else is staying off for now as the rest of the house is still around 12C.
  • My heating went on last night for a coupla hours. It was as much an anti-damp thing as a temp thing. We’ve had a lotta rain and foggy nonsense for a few days here, and it was a bit chilly outdoors from about 6pm last night so on it went.
I removed the shell from my racing snail, but now it's more sluggish than ever.

Definitely going to look into some gloves @YoungBlueEyes and @Auntycaz - I may even have an old pair stashed away... a job for the weekend to find them I think!

Temperature is definitely on the turn here (Worcestershire).. windscreen was slightly frozen on the car this morning :open_mouth:

Housework tonight... that'll keep me warm!

  • It is 14.9 in my house and it feels a bit brisk! I am dyeing my hair so I only have on an old vest top on with my leggings which probably doesn't help.

My husband said he felt cold last night so I said to put on a jumper under his hoodie instead of a T-shirt!

I did put a blanket on top of the mattress when we got into bed and that really made a significant difference. I was very nice and warm last night.
