I’ve just gone from my winter to summer duvet. I think I may be regretting it fairly soon. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
Is it wrong to want the comfort of a HWB? I'm glad I'm not the only one who's having the internal dialogue "it's June for heaven's sake".No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.3 -

I lived in Scotland for many years and compared with southern England August is an autumn month up there. Pleasant but quite bracing sometimes although the days are longer. The only month guaranteed to be able to have the heating off was July. Other months there would always be a few evenings when the wind was in the wrong quarter. Thankfully in the East Midlands now the heating is off from April to November and even that is under revision!Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14

I am in drought ridden Kent so mine is definitely off for the forseeable, our forecast at the moment is no rain until maybe 17th and then only light showers
My grass has stopped growing, and its just brown almost dust out there ,and we have a hosepipe ban. At the moment this morning I have three husky lumberjacks removing a conifer tree from the bottom of my garden that has completely died. I was worried about it falling as the surrounding ground is cracking dreadfully
