I have mine on today for the first time since March, has been a dull damp day here and I was cold. I only run the thermostat at 18 degrees so only heated up about 1.5 degrees this morning but it made loads of difference. I dont like the house to hot as it makes my asthma worse but too cold also makes me ill

    Debt-free and Proud!
Felt a little nippy inside for the first time today. Needed slippers whilst padding around the kitchen and I'm grateful for the laptop keeping my knees warm at the moment! We try to leave the heating until November but it sometimes goes on over October half term if it's cold during the day. Just bought three lovely and cosy fleece tops from a Cotton Traders outlet so I'll enjoy wearing those in the evenings.

Nope off here. I managed to get to December 1st last year without it on. So that's my goal :)

We have yet again another sunny day here, so the house is nice and warm even had the bedroom window open last night and it still is. The kitchen window has been open all morning just closed it now before we start to lose any heat.
Why pay full price when you may get it YS ;)

We have had the heating on for spells over the last few weeks, however it is off today. Soon though I would imagine that it will be on properly.

Off here, house still warm at the moment. Most winters the heat is on very little,we wear plenty of layers and the house is well insulated. This winter it's going to need to be on more, my 6yr old granddaughter and my son are living here now so we will need more heat on to keep her warm.

Since we got our nice new boiler we have controls on all the radiators and when its chilly we just have the ones in the living room on... nice and cosy and I dont feel guilty!

  • I put my heating on this afternoon for a bit. Although not overly cold, I fancied a toasty warm home.

Hey, there was no point in spending loads of money last year for a combi if I'm not going to use it. :p
