No heating on yet. I am sitting in our cold north facing front room and it is 19.9C. Just have a T.shirt on - no jumper.

I keep having this conversation with various people = Heating is just what you have got use to. Once you get use to a cooler home it becomes the normal.
Folk that sit in a heated office all day will come home and feel the chill more.

It's 19c here tonight, no need for a jumper, definitely no heating.

It'd been a practically tropical Halloween. Went round the block doing trick or treating with my son in just a t shirt. Who'd have thought it was november tommorow.

Well thats it! We got through October without putting the heating on - although there were a couple of close call days in there! So pleased with myself for doing it and well done to everyone else!

Now to see how far I can get through November. I will give it a go, but if it gets really cold it will go on, no question. The point of my not putting it on in October was the fact that I know the way I think, once it went on, it would stay on!

  • I succumbed twice to air the rooms and some ironing, but very pleased that I have managed without due to the weather being mild. Hope November is the same
