We have succumbed and put the heating on for two hours every night at 20 degrees! It's freezing in our damp student house, and we also don't want the mould to prevail over us!Undergrad law student. Take my advice with a pinch of salt! :rotfl:0

Hasn't it been amazing today. So many people outside in the park walking dogs, playing with kids just enjoying the weather. I am starting to think we will pay for this wonderful weather in later months" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I arrived at my parents house in the Midlands this afternoon, often come up at this time of year for half term with dd. I'm normally freezing and wrapped up in lots of layers by now, but I'm reasonably comfortable in just my jumper in their house without the heating
Planning on going shopping in Birmingham this week for some winter Primarni digs for myself and DD :T0 -
It has been quite wet in chilly here today. I have had the heating on most evenings over the past week. I have kept the thermostat on 17 or 18, so the heating only seems to come on once for twenty minutes. By this time of the year it is usually much colder in Scotland. I am just grateful it has not needed a morning boost yet.0

Last night I was hanging clothes in the garden at 8 pm and it was so mild I did not need to wear a jacket. It looks like, for the first time, I might make it to 1st November without putting the CH on. Today is also promising sunny weather. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Still off. I went out to the shops last night in a long sleeved top and sandals. I was also wearing other clothing, not just that.:D
