Wow , you must live oop north , we get very little rain where I live on the east coast in Suffolk, and less snow as well, but we do get a lot of wind , it seems to fizzle out and we just get the cloud , has been noted that this is one of the top driest places to live.......Im not complaining ....If I had ice warning then my heating would firmly be turned on....My motto is " one life live it ".....:)0 -
So warm today I've been wearing a short sleeved top and had the back door open most of the day. Still have the ch on for an hour early in the mornings for the bathroom as it takes so long to shower etc.0

Still not had the CH on but have used the Woodburner a few times.
We havn,t really had any proper cold weather yet - being right down south we,ve been lucky.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Still off here in Oxfordshire. I did consider buying a room thermometer but decided that if it showed a low temperature I would feel even more cold!January GC: £64.81/£80.00
February GC: £24.60£80.000 -
Still off here - the aim was to keep it off until November (unless someone gets ill, or the little one says she's cold) and it looks like we should reach it no problem. We're having new outdoors fitted on Wednesday which will get rid of the current draft so we may even press on longer.0

Just on in the morning for shower. Been sitting in the garden to have lunch with the dog and mogs, it's so mild

Mild here in the northeast, but raining on and off.
I'll probably have the heating on over the next couple of days to dry washing, then it will be back off again as not cold yet. Still have windows and doors open all day and evening until I go to bed, bedroom window open 24/7 anyway no matter what.
I'm figuring (weather dependant) that I will only be heating the lounge (and dining room occasionally) all winter due to menopause....i still have a fan on at times......
It's not cold yet though, as conservatory is 60, just been to check out the temp.
Did buy a fleece bed liner for later on though, I like a warm bed, but cool room.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
