Is your heating ON or OFF?

I've got electric central heating which costs a small fortune to run, so I'm trying to keep it off as long as possible.
I'm in laundry drying limbo though, it's getting too cold and wet to hang it out on the line but without the heating on it takes forever to dry in the house. I might start putting the heating on when I've got a big load of washing to dry but just wear an extra jumper if I'm feeling cold otherwise.0 -

Off, thankfully the weather is still very mild. Baking a crumble in the oven made the kitchen very warm too. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Still off and the weather is good, but no longer so mild. Last night I had a bath and wished I had the heating on for when I came out. As it happens, it was not too bad because I was warm from the bath, but am starting missing my creature comforts. Only a few more days! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0

Still off here in London. i do take a hot water bottle to bed with me lately though.
Our bedrooms have always felt much chillier than the rest of the house and really hard to get warm…we put that polystrene insulating wallpaper on the walls that are outside walls this year though, and the rooms definitely don't have that same cold, damp sort of feeling to them, and the walls are not cold to touch. I'm impressed so far - will see how they do when it gets really cold though.PAYDBX 2016 #55 100% paid! :j Officially bad debt free...don't count my mortgage.
