Unashamedly on all day after spending yesterday in the warmth of a hospital day-patient unit. I would almost have been happy to stay overnight!

Had heating on yesterday evening and this morning as had a guest.

As soon as they were out the door heating off and onesie on.

Weather is pretty dismal here so timer is set to come on, but have turned the thermostat down and shut doors to conservatory. Teaming it down and windy here.

Still no heating on upstairs other than towel rail as heat drifts upstairs in this house.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

I was in hospital for 4 days up to Christmas eve and its definately made me need the heating on more than usual, especially felt the cold overnight :(
  • Had my fan heater on, finally got the dial to the right point, so it blasts for about 10 minutes, then just does about a minute every now and then, and keeps my living room toasty for a fraction of the cost of putting the central heating on.

The central heating is just proving too expensive for one person who is currently spending most of the day in one room while off work!

  • When I left home to go and stay with my sister over Christmas I left the windows open, so it was quite chilly when I got back. Heating went on for an hour on Sunday but not since as it really isn't cold at all. I don't think the thermostat has dropped below 17 degrees. HOORAY! for mild weather
  • 60f, and no heating on at all today.
