  • Our heating is off here and we are all wearing onesies, I have no idea how people manage without them! DH was so against it before Christmas but having bought him a Superman onesie, he loves them so much he now has 3! DD's and me only have 2 each, one to wear and one for the wash!

Living room at 18 degrees and plenty warm enough :D
  • If keeping warm means wearing a onesie I'd prefer to pay the heating bill any day..............meanwhile give me a nice fleecy pair of pj's and that's a different matter.

I havn't had the chance to go to town to buy a onesie yet, defo going to get one to try so if we do get the freezing weather we are surposed to (not convinced we are going to )I will be warmer.

Our combined gas and electric bill for November was £95 and that's for a 4 bed house with everyone showering every day. I think, from memory, the gas was £36 and the remainder was the electric. Very happy with that size bill and don't imagine December will be any higher.

Lol......i'd rather look like a plonker in my own home and have a lighter bill and spend the money on something else. honestly I have resisted for months or probably a year, having got one and knowing how warm I am without blasting the heating i'm a convert.

I made them sell it me for half price too as the seam had come away...so ultra MSE.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.
  • Another one for the onesie front, it's a fox so I look ridiculous (and difficult to sleep in due to having a tail) but so warm. I also have a strange kind of long fleecy nightie which I got before onesies where invented, some kind of prototype I think but very warm also.
Due to having a December birthday I've got all the fluffy jammies, dressing gowns, slippers, fluffy socks you could ever need and zero summer clothes!
    Times is 'ard.

That's EXACTLY why I've not gone for one myself :rotfl:. Haven't got a clue how my six yr old dgd manages .............. they've got a downstairs bathroom as well as very steep stairs .

I just know that, if I lived in their house, I'd 'never make it in time' ;).

Though, have to admit, that the idea of wearing one instead of a dressing gown, is very appealing :T.

I hate the thought of having to be half undresses to use the bathroom. I am such a wuss.
  • I bought 2 from yours and am pleased to say I love them and haven't put the heating on since. My son has even punched one of my daughters ( in his defence it does look like a navy blue tracksuit) so am going to buy him a couple as well.
