Is your heating ON or OFF?

Only 58.6f (14.8c) in the house right now, but, as I've been out most of the morning, and will be going out again before noon, it's easier to leave my coat on, than to fire up the CH.0

DD(3) is a bit unwell so we are just in the living room (she's on the sofa with her ted and blankie) so I've put the gas fire on. No point heating the whole house, she'll probably fall asleep where she is.
Chilly this week - we've needed hats and mitts for the school run most mornings.Bossymoo

Still off on the south coast. Very chilly inside, maybe due to living over a cellar
(ground floor flat).
I light candles in the living room when I shut the curtains and keep the door shut, which helps. All the other rooms are cold but washing up and ironing are a good way to warm up, I don't enjoy either usually but don't mind too much when it's cold!
Lots of layers, hot water bottles and blankets on the sofa are how we keep going0 -
Off.
It's only at the 'might put a jumper on' stage.0 -
We are usually lucky enough to get free gas for our little superser heater but ran out yesterday (won't get more free for a while) so our heating is ON! I'm wearing a fleece and a body warmer and we also have the duvet on the sofa....really hoping its a mild winter this year ...GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

Started off with the gas fire on as it was a bit nippy, but even though I was wearing all my layers, including a scarf, I started to feel quite cold. I looked at my wall thermometer, and it was just tipping in to the blue, so on went the heating.
I've just put the thermostat down to 10 degrees, as I will be going out after lunch, and the residual heat will be enough until then.
And I've started the "jar meter"!Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -

i'm aiming for mid December before I even think about putting the heating on...would have been on ages ago in my last house through!

I put one of my storage heaters on, because it is very cold in my bedroom and I need to dry some clothes. Living room and kitchen are ok, so I will hold on with that.
Having CH off when it is 15C at home - that's bit extreme.0 -
It's on here.... We have jumpers on, blankets and it's still freezing. We have had a lot of hail today too :snow_grinGoal - We want to be mortgages free :j
