Seems to be only me so far to use carrier bags
I did have quite a few bags for life but they got used at the allotment.
I've no excuse, I know, they do get re-used at home though, if thats of any help.0 -
The big blue ones from Mr T's as the OH helps me with the shopping and he can lift them into/out of the car.0

I have two lovely little bags from home bargains costing about 50p each. they fold up really small and live in a little bag of their own, in my handbag. for the big shop I use the huge Aldi ones. had them about two years and they are still strong!0

Sometimes I actually think to myself (or even say to anyone who happens to be with me) that I must remember to pick up a couple of carrier bags as well this time, as I need some more bin liners! :rotfl:0 -
I have a mixture of some bags for life, and some sturdy canvas bags picked up at events and fairs, for example a moss bros one from a wedding fair. Maybe you could ask your friends and family to look out for something similar for you if the go to any fairs?I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Felt such a nit after posting that suggestion: my T-shirt bags stretched & the stitching pulled, so I re-recycled them into dusters
I went back to morsbags, bags-for-life, a selection of Asda & Sainsbury's hold-all type bags & a giant IKEA bag all of which are supposed to live in the back of the car, but sometimes get left in the kitchen
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
My husband works at a well known Newspaper/Magazine distributors and he gets the things off the front of magazines. So my shopping bags are usually known as beach bags, and depending which magazine they've come off depends on the size and quality but miles better than bags for life (even though i do use a couple of these from when Sainsburys were giving them away free).0
