What shopping bags do you use?

I have a "craft trolley" instead of a wheely bag, but I'd like a wheely bag... just can't bring myself to do it yet. I'm only 28 and I'd feel a bit wierd!0

I use the car - which has a box in the boot to stop things sliding around. Saves time at the tills not holding people up bagging everything.
From till to trolley to car. Car to house. Done.
If walking then a rucksack. Distributes the weight and no tired arms.0 -
I have a wicker shopping basket that was passed onto me by my MIL, who in turn got it from her mother. As her mum died in the late 1970s, it's over 30 years old and probably older. It holds quite a lot of shopping, though obviously can't manage more bulky items and has the advantage over plastic bags of the handles not twisting round and cutting into my palms when being carried.0

All of the supermarkets here charge for bags (but they are the better quality, longer lasting ones). Took me a while to get used to it, but now I carry some with me whenever I go out, and usually take my backpack too (I find it's easier to carry anything weighty that way). I do have a huge stock of them at home though because I kept forgetting for the first few months! lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0

I like the hessian type bags that Tesco sell...they're very strong, they're a perfect size for me to lug upstairs and they're cheap. I usually use the car for the big shop so if i forget to take bags into the supermarket I'll take the groceries out to the car and pack them there. I'm pretty good at remembering to take the bags back out to the car but if I forget then I have to bag up the groceries when I get home and that will teach me, eh?
I've also got a couple of fold up ones for my handbag, for emergencies.Val.0 -

You can get really funky shopping trolleys nowadays - they don't have to look like the one your gran used! I've got my eye on a lovely cow-pattern one.
I got some nice reuseable shopping bags from Paperchase - they were more expensive than the ones you've mentioned from The Works but are very nice. I have three which fold up very easily back into their little pouches.0 -

I made a couple of Morsbags at a workshop run by them but they are sadly only very small book bags size and also they didnt last very long.. admire their principles but tbh the bags themselves are not really fit for purpose for any real grocery shopping..What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
