Hi everyone
Just popping in to say hi to all the regulars joining up and welcome all the newbies. We seem to have a lot of people from the GC challenge joining up, welcome to you all (I've just been reading the GC thread, I might pluck up courage to join you there next month:D)
I'll be back later to say hi properly to everyone and add you to the front page but didn't want anyone to think I was ignoring them.
See you all later

Hello Newbies & better say Wotcha to all the Old Codgers or there'll be trouble
I'm so pleased I specified a polyester/viscose prezzie last month or the poor thing would have shrunk by now in all this rainso those of ewe with proper lambs must be feeling a little sheepish today :rotfl:Couldn't resist ramming that home!
Well..to business..what shall I aim for this month? Got me muvva's b'day this month but we're toying with buying bunches of fresh flowers every two or three weeks throughout the coming year instead of yet another vase that only comes out when she has bought something to go in it! The Offspring are more than likely to say they'll give me the money when it's their turn to pay so that would increase my spenders as I'll inevitably have to wait to get that backFurther discussions required methinks...
Can't find me 'ooks now to hang a little fleece behind the bedroom curtain, so more shopping expeditions to lesser-known lands on the horizon :wall: Really not doing at all well with one thing or another but I'm not going to give up. Thanks for those who suggested MrM for peppermint cordial; there's one about 7 miles away & we have a wander about once a month, or I'm hoping I may be taken to the Yellow & Blue Castle to get rubber gloves, my glass mug & the hooks. We have to pass a large MrA on the way so I could possibly persuade my 'chauffeur' to stop there too
My cooker is definitely going to need replacing sooner than I'd hoped so serious investigations & pricing up starts now& I'll obviously have to take advantage of any bargains that may or may not be out there...
I'm usually further ahead on my :xmastree: prep than I am this year so ditto the bargains...ooooooohhhhhhhhh :undecided tis difficult this month *chews bottom lip*

Spoon please put me down for 15. I bought my first Xmas pressie yesterday, 2011 Guiness Book of Records for £5....:j
Good Luck everyone. xxx***Dont save what is left after spending, spend what is left after saving***0 -
I have asked one person in particular this but was wondering what the general concencus was - what do we include in our NSD's? Do most of you include DD's?
I include EVERYTHING!I only have a few DDs to go out as DH takes most of the bills and I make sure that I spend on a day I would normally be spending anyway (eg Grocery day). Have been regularly getting 18+ NSDs every month.
Happy Friday everyone - I'd do a wiggle but got no idea how to post any pics!! So you'll all just have to imagine one here ..........
I'm imagining...........Oh-Oh! Picture of Katenut on neddy, all I can see is neddy's tail and hind quarters doing the wiggle:rotfl:I would have considered putting money to one side to keep tomorrow as an NSD, but I've no idea how much I'll need (new underwear being the order of the day, as I'm now at the point that I'll lose a certain item of clothing if I'm wearing a skirt or dress). So that's another potential NSD gone, and takes me down to 21
..............and that has now given me a completely different ppicture to imagine
Don't know where my dancing skeleton went Spoon, I edited to add it and there were two, today they've gone.........Spooky
Got to get kids from school now but I will be here in October,
I'd going for 18 again thanks Spoon.Life is knowing which bridges to burn and which bridges to build!

Helloooo! I only discovered NSD's about halfway through last month, but think it will help to give me a goal to keep me on track. I am not going to include petrol or DD's (i.e. anything that comes out the bills account, we don't have bank cards for that so can't spend anything anyway)
I also want to start small as this is my first month and I don't want to burn out too soon. Please would you put me down for 10 NSD's as a start?
thank you so much :T and Happy Friday!!!24/09/10: Lloyds C/C - 2521.43 25/10/10 1835 30/12/10 1500 Argos - [STRIKE]520[/STRIKE] 0 :T
Oct 10/10 NSD's Yay :j
Determined to get back on track! :beer:0 -
Hi could I be put down for 10 again please. Just managed it last month. This challenge is helping me keep on the straight and narrow.0
-
I don't include bill payments and rent, as they're essentials. Nor do I include my grocery budget, as that's essential. So, in the spirit of NSD, I'm reporting no 1 for me today please** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
