Evening all....unexpectedly I am on track for a NSD today...but not declaring yet....still 2hrs 11mins to go and don't want to tempt fate....

niccatw - I just saw the thread about the free listing weekend, which is great - I missed the last one being out of the country and I have a few items that haven't gone at the car boots because of the price but I am not letting a worn once Ben Sherman shirt go for £2, nor a Chilli Pepper dress (brand new) going for £1 either.... so been waiting to list on ebay to hopefully get a decent price and not lose out if the item doesn't sell....now where's me camera gone...???? Good luck for your NSD target x

I keep meaning to do a car boot too... but the early mornings and the whole thing scare me a little! Spent the morning in A&E with my friend so a bit behind on the ebay listings front.... will get down to it now and report back! :p You joining us in our mini challenge Kerri?

Cheryl - do you have any outlet factory shops/centres nearby? My friend got her MBTs at one near us for £80. Still a lot but justifiable if you know they'll work for you.

En route for an NSD but don't want to tempt fate (if I need to use the car again today, it will want something to drink before it agrees to move anywhere!)

Oh dear nicca, hope your friend is ok. I'm rather behind on the ebay front too, been a bit slow getting going doing anything today so must get them listed tomorrow. Thanks for the offer to join your mini challenge, I would love to but I really only have these three items to list. I got rid of a lot of stuff doing car boots, I found for certain items, esp clothes, it's much easier to sell them at the car boot for £1 - £2 (or possibly more depending), esp as it takes the faff out of postage and additional fees etc. There is a big car boot near us - sellers usually get there between 8 - 8.30 so its not too early. Why not team up with a friend and try on next year when the weather is better - ours charges £11 per car, so we split it £5.50 each, so the cost is covered by the first few items we sell. Get a clothes rail from Freegle or a similar site too. I was a bit nervous at first, dealers often try and panic you into parting with items as soon as you arrive and I was worried about haggling over prices, but just stand your ground and you'll be fine :)

Small spendy day today (so far), got two loaves of Warburtons' bread for 10p each - not reduced so I don't know what the deal was with the price but I'm not complaining :j and some tinned rhubarb (now I know it waaay out of season!) and some ginger for crumble - all for the princly sum of 65p :)
