Well still havent managed to get very far only one item selling so far for £9.95 so that should give me £9.00 after fees have been taken off.
I've managed to list another 8 items tonight. So i've got 112 items listed at the moment only 8 of them are new items the rest have been listed previously. I only have 9 items being watched at the moment so its not looking too hopeful. Most of the relisted items end in 3 days and i won't be relisting them again until there is a 5p listing day cause it costs far too much.
I have a house full of junk to get rid of just need to get motivated!!!

Thanks

I think it depends on the type of account you have. I tend to transfer after each big batch of sales so I have about £100. I know it would cost me £0.25p for under £50 and free over £50. Best way to find out it click on "Withdraw" it will show you a table with the costs. You would obviously also need a bank account added to your account.0 -

Hi Clearvisor, it definately sounds like one of two things (or popssibly both). You have listed the items at a very high starting price which has incurred high listing fees and put people off bidding because they were to much and secondly you have probably ticked a lot if not all the "featured" additions, pushing the price up further.
What I recommend.
Dowload Turbo Lister to prepare your listings, this has an automatic fee calculation part that will show you how much it will cost you before listing the items. You can then go back and change features/prices if it is going to cost you more than you are willing to shell out.
Consider what youo actually would like for your items and add a "Buy It Now" price or start the auction at a lower start price. This will encourage people to bid with the thinking that they are getting a bargin and, once you have one or two bids, it encourages other people to bid and so pushes the price up.
Also if you don't yet, consider accepting an electronic form of payment, eg Paypal (doesn't have to be but it is the most popular). If people can pay immediately or electronically it will encourage them to bid.
HTH, feel free to ask more questions if needed or drop me a PM.0 -
Hi all,

Hurrah, one of my items has 25 people watching it and a first bid already (3 days left to go)!
It was an item I loved and it was a big decision for me to list it, so will be happy if it makes me a bit of money!!!
Got some more stuff to list tonight.

Im a little late to this party, but I am finally getting off my backside and listing a load of gear I keep finding, including stuff from my mums that I picked up this weekend!
Watch this space! LETS GO GO GO! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I just received payment of £4.92 from an ebay sale, so that will get me started. Are we counting the net profit, or just the sale price?"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

I'm counting the net profit.0

Darn, the net profit on £4.92 is gonna be low..."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

I'm counting the sale price and then at the very end I'll take off the fees. I find it better that way. More encouraging.
One of my items is doing well - the one I really didn't want to part with!
