Wow flourgirl, love the sound of the invites! Not sure what size cards you are after but Hobbycraft are doing a pack of 50 A6 for a fiver, they come with white envelopes. Craft Creations sell black cards in all different sizes and even do black placecards if you want the ease of buying ready made x

The winner of my blob candy has been announced on my blob and it's someone from here ;-)

    Hey all,

Sorry I havent been on, we have been away for the weekend camping ... having horrible problems trying to sort out Maddison starting school in the september, so OH has written a 2 page rant which I have to take to the headmaster tomorrow!! so much for putting the kids first!! more like upsetting the parents and making sure the teachers are fine, forget the kids!! ...

We went to Alnwick castle on sat, it did nothing but rain .. 20 miles from the campsite and we managed to walk round the gardens for 3 hours before finally calling it a day, we never got into the castle as we were all so cold and wet. Ended up back in the tent trying to warm up!! was a lovely weekend but I never wanted it to end!!

Flourgirl - those invites sound beautiful!

    Melissa

Rainmac - Well done on your fayre!

Will try and get back in the next couple of days, I am having horrid problems with blogger, cant comment again and keep getting error 501 when I try and post!

  • it feels like weeks since I've read or posted on here, but it's not nearly as long as it's been since I last did anything bloggerliscious. But I have done that for the first time since early June.

Hope everything is going ok for everybody - I know I've missed the last 2 challenges, hopefully I'll be back to do the next one.

I have submitted the application form for my own job, so let's hope I manage to be fairly stress free now for the next few weeks until they select who's getting jobs.

It's nice to be back, and I would like to think, with the help of you lot, I will regain the sanity that is very close to being lost.

    xxx

Well done on your win, you lucky lady!!

We went to a campsite in Wooler, its a bit more expensive as it is a hoseasons (I think hoseasons) one but it is clean, well looked after, has a park and if you walk down the river there is a really nice put on the corner which does lots on an evening! We have been there 3 times now ;)

Time to get the monkeys to school and then head in to get weighed ... I feel heavier today so not looking forward to it! :rotfl:

Georgie - Good luck with reapplying! nice to see you back!

Georgiegirl, hello :hello: lovely to see you back xxx

Rusty, I too am having some problems with Blobber, getting error 503 sometimes when I comment and not other times, such a pain in the bum  Error 403 is regularly occuring too :(. What's going on with your school, hope lil M is ok xxx DS2 has his induction session today 12.30-2.30, I am going to be in bits, I'm really not ready for him to start school :(

Had even better news about the fayre, when the treasurer took all the takings home and worked out the figures we made over £1700 profit :j
