I've been quiet on here for a while as I had lost my crafting mojo a little.

An order at Crafts-4-U changed that as I ordered some diecut stepper cards and played with them last night. I'll post the photos in the usual place in a minute, but I'm very happy with them :D:D

    *EDIT* Now posted up.

Well its been a quiet weekend here, the OH took our oldest 2 to the cinema to see the new transformers movie this morning - they all enjoyed it although Leo managed to spend a small fortune on the pick and mix. I've been trying to finish off my felt strawberry today - I managed to do 2 french knots and then Tilly woke up!

butterfly2001 - did you end up ordering anything?

viclspence - fab cards - my favourites are the ones with the peacocks - I really like the image - is it a stamp?

flying-fresian - great stepper cards - I've never made one, but yours look really pretty.

lizalloareds - did you find any bargains in Hobbycraft - I haven't been in years?

Marg - did you find those stamps?

Jowri - gorgeous challenge card - love the combination of the pink and blue together.

No Mel, they were free papers from hunkydory magazine! They are lovely, but have now used most of them as you didn't get much in the pack. Just hope they bring out a full sized set as I will def be buying.

    Rainmac you are very welcome.

I have spent ages today sorting out my DS2's wedding invitations etc. 50 diamante buckles :eek::eek: DIL wanted them on the place settings too but I said they would look too heavy lol or that would have been another 60!! DH was nearly having a fit when I told him how much they were lol

They are going to be black swirly embossed card with fuchia ribbon and diamante heart buckles and crystal gems. Quite stunning. I made a mock one and she loved it. The only thing I need to get is the black cards, I need about 50 with envelopes. I am going to look at the Doncaster show next week for some decent quality ones or failing that some nice card and cut them myself. I need some for the place settings too.

I'm working nearly full time for the next 2 weeks and they want the invites asap cos the wedding is October  nothing like leaving things to the last minute!! So looks like I'm gonna be a busy bee.
