I survived the disco but only just! I accidentally broke a glow stick bracelet and the dye squirted in my eye, blimey it hurt! Think that was the perfect ending to a perfect carp day
Flourgirl, that's rubbish about your phone, keep on until you get it back or get the money you are supposed to. I worked for a small independant shop for years when I was at school and then worked in M&S in the customer service department for about 10 months. I think I always gave good service and hate being treated badly in shops as there is no need. I got your reply email thank you
Ali, I too hate Tesco but it is my nearest supermarket so do tend to go there. I got told once that I had no money in my bank account when my bank card got stopped for a security check. The cow on the till said it in a really loud voice so half the shop could hear. I've never been so embarrassed in my life. It was just a routine check and nothing to do with not having enough money
Mad Frog, glad you liked Room. I really didn't like it at first, made me feel really uncomfortable the thought of a child living like that but am warming to it now.
Off to bed with my drink and book, night night all x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

i am surprised about morrisons rainmac i bought some jumbo boxes of nappies that were on a massive display at being 2 for £8 when each box was £12.99. I went to CS and they tried to say they weren't included in the promotion and someone must have put them down there. But i took them to the display and they were all the same so they couldn't argue so they gave me nearly £18 back :j

I've been this morning. They said that they were actually closing tomorrow, but that they were starting to dismantle the shop but if anyone wanted anything they could go. I got some Promarkers, card bag thingies (can never remember what they are called) and some other bits and pieces. Was your dad in under Mr Kluge? I work for the anaesthetists, so I hope he had a good experience!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -
Rainmac You didn't have a good day yesterday at all. Ouch! How's your eye? Wow our Tesco's are the best supermarket, they're all so nice and couldn't be more helpful - it's Asda that's a nightmare!
Rebekah Your card is lovely - I love the flowers.
Off to try and catch up on blogs - I'm so far behind so apologies to you all.0 -
It's very quiet on here today, have you all got the glorious sunshine we've got and are enjoying being out?
Poppy had her stitches out yesterday so we've been able to go to the beach today, she wasn't as enthusiastic as she normally is so I expect her internal stitches may be causing some discomfort for her so she may not feel like running about just yet. She met a doggie friend and they played together but she did seem to be limiting herself.
She came back quite pooped so while she was having a snooze I went and made a card for my GS's birthday and have blobbed it.
PepPop Thanks so much for the links to the flowers. I had a little splurge at Joanna Sheen's and bought the wildflower pillar pack coloured ones, white ones were out of stock but I hope to get them when they come back in stock. A couple of other things dropped into my basket somehow :rotfl: .
Hope you all have a nice weekend. Hugs to everyone.0 -
Hi ladies,
mel, any twinges yet???
Tomsmum - hope your doggie is back to normal soon.
Lovely makes on here!!
Been to the pins & needles exhibition at the Metro Arena at Newcastle and it was really nice not half as manic as Harrogate there was a few card making stalls but mainly materials and cross stitch spent just a teenybit due to lack of money!!! Got a few bits from the £1 stall so that cheered me up:D
Right off to pick the boys up from their nannas, got Jacks main birthday pressy today as well, a cricket bat but really stumped (ha ha!) (just realised the pun as typing it!!) as to what else to get him he is 11 on Saturday - I am so disorganised this year dont know whats wrong with me!! He spends a lot of time on the xbox but really dont want to buy him anymore games but other than that he doesnt have a lot of interests - hmm off to put my thinking cap on - catch you lovelies later xx0
