    Hi,

Sorry I haven't been around lately, but suffering with not enough hours in the day syndrome. Had loads to do in March, that I always seem to be playing catch up.

Haven't read back on what I've missed, so hugs to those that need them and congratulations to all the recent winners. Not sure if this one has been mentioned - but it is one of us, and the card is fab. I only noticed it as I am guest designer for the challenge this week :D.

Hope everyone has had a great Mother's day - I've celebrated today with my youngest who was 8 today, so we had a lovely day all together, at a theme park, and having dinner out, so I didn't have to cook.

Will try and be around more from now on. Any news on Rusty since her op? Off to Ally Pally next weekend, is anyone else from here going?

    xxx
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
  • Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all our Mums and a big cheery wave to everyone.

I'm afraid I'm very behind with posts at the moment as I've been mega cardmaking all week - piccies on my last two bl*g posts if anyone wants to see.
Incidentally, where did you place the apostrophe? Did you go Mother's, Mothers' or Mothers Day. In the end (after a bit of a trawl around the net) I went with Mother's Day.

Cardpaperscissors I have the 3 bird set that you purchased and actually emailed crafters companion to complain about the quality of the cards, I have hardly used it as I was so unhappy but they wouldn't take it back! They just said they would pass on the comments to the designers/purchasers. Needless to say I haven't bought anything else from crafters companion. I only got it because they were doing a half price birthday week promotion!

He finds out tomorrow whether he passed or not, he passed the first part, but the second part has taken him about 5 hours in total to do. Are you managing to do the minimum 10 hours?

No not yet, I am at about 9 hours this week so that's better but the first couple of weeks I could only manage a few hours as there was loads of reading to do and you don't get paid for that. Got my fingers crossed for your OH xxx

Ooo, that's interesting to read - I was being 'polite' on my bl*g post! The only other kit I've bought before was a Basic Grey one and it was very nice. I quite liked all the different cards in the 3 Birds kit but I wouldn't bother again. Also, I gave up using the 'wet' glue supplied because some of the cards buckled a bit - luckily all bar one of them straightened out well.

Hope everyone had a great mothers day. Mine was very quite and I got loads of homemade bits from DD. She made a scrapbook, a card and also did a little video! Very talented. DS on the other hand, managed to sign DD's card!
