No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Happy Mother's Day everyone
, I seem to be slowly adopting a lil cat so I am now looking after two not one. He keeps coming in for food and water and he's had a nice kip on my bed when I didn't know he was in the house
My boy is so soft he isn't that bothered about him coming in.
The egg hunt went well, we've made about £300 after costs have been paid so that's pretty good I think. The school disco on Friday made about the same so I feel the effort is all worth it even though I am shattered today. I've had a beautiful tin watering can filled with hyacinths from my boys and an Easter bunny made from LegoDinner is being cooked for me as was breakfast
. The washing, cleaning up and ironing is all still down to me however.
I intend getting some cards made this week so look out for some posts on my neglected blob. I am sorry I've been a bad blobber of late, can't keep upI promise to get back into it soon x
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
TomsMom I'm glad you got the ones you wanted. Joanna Sheen's delivery is really good too. Poor wee Poppy, I hope she's back to her normal self soon.
ruthm
Welsh Poppy I got a cutting mat, metal ruler and knife from Tesco's for about £5, if that helps. Just make sure it's a self-healing one.
Rainmac Do you want to swap cats. Our shadow's pride must have really got hurt when the two of them had their fight a month ago - he's fine and then every so often he remembers she clobbered him and hisses at her. You'll need to take a pic of the newest member of the Rainmac household
Flourgirl Can I have a teeny weeny bit of your cake - I am mother to two cats :rotfl:
Happy Mother's Day to you all0 -
Evening all, well they have been terrible all day (my daughter is reading over my shoulder as I type this)! I did get breakfast in bed, in fact I got it twice. My DS who is 3 made me sugarpuffs, I can't stand the things but ate about half and he finished off the rest. My hubby made me croissants (? spelling) which was lovely. I am now making tea though as my DH has been doing his exam for Lionbridge.
To Jomama I am not sure what your MSE equivalent name is, sorry. The cards on my blog for yesterday have all been with paper packs rather than printed by me. I've got a variety of printing card though, I have tried all sorts. I got some off Create and Craft which works superbly, but can't see it on their website today otherwise would have linked you to it. I also bought some from the GNPE the other week but haven't tried it yet, it was sold as working with Promarkers as apposed to printing on, but I assume it will work equally as well.Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0 -

Good luck to your OH, I am in my 3rd week of working with them and although not managing to do much work cos of other stuff going on, I am enjoying it and finding it less stressful than at the start x
PepPop, the newbie cat is called Bob, I reckon he may be about 18 months old and he is blooming adorable. He lives just across the road from us but seems to prefer other people's houses to his own. Our cat Ben is 9 and he is a home boy, he was my first baby. He loves to go out and used to be a prolific hunter but has quietened down a lot and likes his home comforts.
Tomsmom, hope Poppy is ok, bless her xxx:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

He finds out tomorrow whether he passed or not, he passed the first part, but the second part has taken him about 5 hours in total to do. Are you managing to do the minimum 10 hours?Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0
