Rainmac - you amaze me with the amount of stuff that you help out on and volunteer for - you put me to shame, hope the Easter egg hunt goes okay and that you got your money back - I hate being overcharged too!!

Nah I didn't get anything  The customer service lady had nerves of steel and was not budging on anything, eggs had been wrongly labelled (no apology said I should have read all of the label including the small print) and she said the meat was in date so that's that. I huffed out the shop and have sent a stinking email to Morrisons saying I will never be shopping there again. Went from there to Toys R Us where I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to customer services for me to get my money back on something we bought by accident. Not a good morning really, need another cuppa before going to get kiddies from school and then gear myself up for the hell that is the school disco ;)

How are you feeling now Mel, still cleaning like mad?

Going to have an early night tonight with my book and a hot chocolate. I'm reading Room, has anyone read it? I didn't like it at first but about half way through and it has me gripped!

Rainmac - sorry to hear that you didn't have better luck at Morrisons - I think often the service that you get depends on the individual sales assistant and whether they're having a good or bad day! Hope you get a better response from your email! Sounds like you could probably do with a tipple of something in your cuppa to deal with the school disco! The mad cleaning phase has passed - I'm onto the getting organised phase now - the cleaning phase was too tiring!

Rainmac I would skip the school disc and go straight to bed with a baileys in the hot choccy!! Sorry you didn't get any joy with Morrisons, with the amount of food that supermarkets throw away at the end of the day it would have been good customer relations to change your stuff without quibble!! What a pain in the bum, extra petrol too grrrrr.

We are having a tussle with the Royal Fail, they give you money for your old phones.... mine was only worth £18 but in excellent condition (6months old) we made sure it was fully charged and working before we sent it in the envelope provided. Then the other day we had an email saying that the phone didn't work therefore no money would be paid!! Well it must have been the wrong day because I just flipped! I know £18 isn't a lot but thats not the point, I feel I'm being done. Anyway they have had a snotty email and we asked for the phone to be sent back, we got an email back saying its gone to the complaints dept. I would rather have the phone back and jump on it and put it in the bin, robbing s*ds!!

Rainmac I got your test email and have replied, its not bounced back yet. :)

Hi ladies (and any gents!) I don't often post on here but do lurk a lot!
Just to let anyone know who is in the West Yorkshire area there is a closing down sale at Craftstation which is on the Bingley road just before the Saltaire roundabout. Everything 33% off and going quick. I am not associated but called in at lunchtime and they have promarkers at £1.26 each lots of crafting paper punches etc and a toy department upstairs (which I didn't have chance to look at)

I asked how long they were open and it is open until 5pm tomorrow only

    Hope it helps someone
