Sorry I've not been about, hectic week of getting sorted for the preschool Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Why oh why I took this on I'll never know. OH has been off this week and has been getting under my feet ;). We did go to the cinema today whilst the boys were at school, felt a bit like I was bunking off but the break from thinking about my hellish day coming up on Saturday was lovely :)

Good luck Mad Frog, ooohhh exams, I feel queasy just thinking about them let alone doing them!

Good news about your OH dragonllew. Hope he gets his licence back before you head off to Wales. Where abouts are you going?

I've managed one card this week :( Looking forward to next week with no blinking egg hunt to organise ;)

I've just realised that I haven't done anything for the teachers for Easter as I normally do, will bog standard eggs do do you think? May do handcream or something instead...

    Hugs to everyone x

    I've finished my inserts!!!!!!
I could cry with relief (well when I say'could cry' - I mean 'have cried')
Maybe I should blame those invitations for the fatty deposit on my contact lens (apparently caused by tears !?!)
Going to take them over to Mum's tomorrow for proof reading before I actually stick them in and will take a photo then.
hurrah - glass of wine next for me I think ;-)

Thanks for all the giraffes (another sentence I never thought I'd type) will colour some up tomorrow and see which look best.

Wow Rainmac I dont know how you do it I can't even begin to imagine how much work goes into organising a easter egg hunt for a preschool I struggle to do one for my 3.

We are going back to Pendine again the kids had such a fab time there last year they begged us to go back again plus its abouthalf an hour away from DH family so we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and do visits at the same time

Toms Mum - welcome back - how's Poppy? sorry I can't help with flowers I don't use them that often. I 'saw' Rusty on facebook the other day and she seems to be recovering fine.

Thanks Marg. Poppy was spayed last week, awww, I felt awful leaving her at the vets. Went to pick her up later in the day to be told "She's a very sensitive little dog and she's a drama queen" . Blimey, I don't know what she did. Not a drama queen at home. I think it probably was that there's always someone here at home so she's used to having either mom or dad around and didn't like being left.

She was very dopey for the next 24 hours but soon perked up. Stitches out tomorrow then hopefully she'll be allowed back on the beach, I think she's a bit bored with just lead walks!

It would be wonderful if humans could recover from a hysterectomy as quickly as dogs!

Looks like lots of us on here are being quiet at the moment, glad it's not just me. I've got to make a card for my GS, age 12, for next week, he's the one who is mini car man. Wracking my brains, I've made cards with minis for the last few years and I'm out of ideas now.

Still looking for flowers if anyone has any recommendations - the flat type I can layer up - pretty please.

((Hugs)) back for you too - I'd missed you. Hope the Egg Hunt goes well - I bet it'll be a roaring success.:) I've always found there's something illicit feeling about coming out of a cinema in daylight - odd I know! :o

Yes! of course an ordinary egg will be fine for the teachers. Don't make life tougher for yourself than you need to! the teachers must know you appreciate them by virtue of all you do for the schools.

Dragonllew - Hope DH gets a good reply about his licence I wouldn't like to drive all that way either! I rarely drive now because of my stroke but even when I drove regularly I wouldn't drive a long distance.

DTB - glad you got your inners sorted - I 'get' the tears thing I've been told my tears are poor quality - probably not 'fat' enough - unlike the rest of me!!
