my credit card would like a quiet word:rotfl:

I on the other hand am very grateful - they're amazing!! I'm torn between spending some stitch and craft budget on them now and waiting to see if they are there :D

If Lili of the Valley are at the show they may do an offer on multiple stamp purchases if that sways what you do, no p&p costs either ;)

ahhhh ok, well I don't like stamping because; despite buying the proper ink (ink it up) and a tonne of different stamps, they still don't look like sharp edges :( also sometimes the ink bleeds into the paper (what paper is best?)... then with Christmas stamps, some of them still smudged in the post :( all in all not good. BUT I love yours! So I want to copy and amend to make them mine...

May be your ink pad and paper you're using rather than a problem with the stamps themselves. Try a different ink pad, I use Memento Tuxedo Black and have never looked back, works brilliantly with Promarkers and no bleeding or smudging. I also use coated card so again no bleeding. I usually buy it from Rymans. HTH x

As I may have mentioned, somewhere along the line, it's my birthday on Tuesday. I've just had an e-mail from my sister (who does work in the craft industry - the shop she works in has just won an award) and she is giving me a Cricut personal cutter. She's upgraded to a Cricut Expression so I'm guessing it's her old one.

I really need to tidy up now so that I've got room for it to be on permanent display.

Posted my challenge card on my blog - won't be offended if you don't think it counts and don't include it - I don't think I actually saw the original post for it and so didn't quite get the brief right.
Had a little mooch in a new (to me) craft shop at Elsecar Heritage Centre yesterday afternoon but neither my Mum nor the boy were too keen to spend too long in there - did see the Tilda background 12x12s tho - they're pretty.
I've promised myself the EK success retro flower punch in medium and large but can't find many places where they're both in stock and reasonably priced so if you spot them anywhere on your travels please let me know/

Rusty didn't go as she was in too much pain but her lovely OH took her to a local craft shop for her to get some goodies.

Hope everyone has a good day, I've got ironing, hoovering and other exciting things planned :( Off to see my friend and her new little boy bundle tomorrow, I can't wait :)

Snipped - Thanks for keeping everyone updated, did you get a cuddle from the baby or am I a day early? xx

That's nice that Rusty managed to get out - I wonder what she bought????

I got loads of the forever friends bits last week from boundary mill, and lots of other bits and bobs, then OH took me to arty & Crafty in south shields, I got as punch, a couple of other bits which I can't remember, and OH bought me a cuttlebug quilling set (as I was tempted by the Xcut one in do crafts mag but cuttlebug one looks nicer ;)) spent the afternoon crafting and laughin lots in bed this afternoon with OH and made this with my quilling set.

Dragonllew - Hope your back eases! xxx

Soma - Well done on your DT position, who is it for?

Sorry if I have missed anyone, just trying to stay caught up and its not working LOL ... drugs are making me weird (no I mean weirder than I am already!) and I can't sit or stand in the same position for too long without it burning!! (burning sensation from back but I have never felt anything so hot, it feels like someone is pouring kettle of boiling water over me!!!)

I have just ordered me a personalised stamp, a Kenny K stamp and a new web domain, aswell as making me a new email address (forwards to my normal address) oh and bought a MS punch on ebay last night aswell lol :rotfl:

Sounds like I am babbling on so will send hugs to you all and dissapear before I burn!! ... Tom laughs cause I keep saying I am dying and he replies are you dying and going to heaven (we jokingly say this) and all I can think is that with this burning, then I might end up in hell! :rotfl:

My SECC purchases are now in my usual place. I've come home with about £11 left *coughfrommy£200budgetcough*

I did pay for two train tickets and our dinner though, so that makes it ok...!

I thought that too - the medium punch was £9.99 there - £6.99 in my craft shop in Sheffield. Neither had the large punch but my Sheffield one mught be getting it back in soon
