Same to you!! How are you feeling?? hope you are ok? looked on the net and wiki says ... Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs
and if you search quilling you can see lots of pretty shapes on google images, think I will stick to flowers though :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

They had a how to make Thingy (sorry can't think of word) and I wanted to buy loads! But left it! Kept thinking would I be able to do backgrounds like that etc etc! Remembered that I did buy a beater on sat! Going to try it with inks I have at home and see how I get on'before I spend money on pretty colour inks!
I have no idea if I'll be able to do the backgrounds, but thought that I would start by using existing papers and stamping on them, then work my way up to the backgrounds if I like how the stamps look.
Thankfully I'm due to be on holiday when the craft show hits Edinburgh at the end of April....0 -

What craft show is this please?? I love the backgrounds, I just dont want the expense of buying all of the inks to only use them a couple of times! Edinburgh is only a couple of hours up the road! (to the bridge)
ETA - Loubylou - Had a parcel from you today, its gorgeous, and thankyou for the beautiful card xRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Loving all your posts on your b***s (guessing we aren't allowed to use the B word these days reading posts lol)
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a crafty query (not card making). A couple of years ago saw posts wither on here or a similar thread on MSE for instructions to make a wallet thingy for keeping money in e.g. different section s for say window cleaner, cleaner, newspapers, milk.
I am desperately trying to keep on top of my spending so thought I would have a go at making one but I can't remember what they are called to search for instructions. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance:wave: Kate :hello:0 -
