I stuck with what I knew!! I had to have the card ready for tomorrow morning, so didn't want to make a mistake with new unfamiliar stash :D

A new card is on the blog now - I used some new stash for that one!
  • Long post alert! Have just read through quite a few pages so hopefully up to date now - apologies to anyone I've missed.

Craftygranny - Brilliant news about Carly - you must be so proud of your girls.
Addams - I hope to get a card done soon for your challenge.
Rainmac - Well done on your new job! Hope your DS is ok after today’s events and that playschool will be addressing this matter.

Flourgirl - Hope your OH has fully recovered from his parachute roll adventures!
Rusty - Hopefully the morphine is doing its work and the pain isn’t as bad now. When do you see someone?? Love the flower that you made.
Soma - Congratulations on your DT position

Butler_Helen - welcome to the thread. What a marathon read you had to catch up. I’ve just managed about 12 pages backlog and was pleased with myself at that.
Melissa - really hope you’ll be packing that bag soon.
Marg - great to hear your ‘eye news’ - sorry about the stinging eye drops though. Sorry can’t help with the Copics. I have promarkers but not that good with them - yet.

Mad Frog - Glad you enjoyed your holiday and lovely to be planning your return trip already.
Georgiegirl2012 - not heard of the SCAL software before but sounds good and very MSE. Hope you get your machine soon.
Dragonllew - congratulations on your win.
Skiergirl - sorry to read your knee is still paining you.

Artydoll - love the new car, hope you and Mr. Artydoll take it out for a spin soon and if you happen to pass by any craft shops, so much the better!
TomsMom - love the two cards you posted and hope you’ll soon be back to full production!
flying_fresian - well done on your new stash - have fun playing!
CT - I have friends who have seen Priscilla and they had a fab time so I’m sure you will too.

Gorgeous new card - I had £20 from my mum, do you think it will stretch to a set of nesties, some LOTV stamps, and a new pair of jeans?

I have a friend who is 50 today. I have made her a card which I am very pleased with, and it's out there in cyberspace should anybody wish to see it. Although I am happy with it as a card, I'm also a little disappointed that my creative juices did not flow sufficiently for me to make something a bit more personal. Maybe when they kick in I will make her a "just because" card later in the year.

Melissa - Have you packed that bag yet? :j

Well for starters I believe Primark do Jeans......... :)

I always struggle with 'special' cards for 'special' people and sometimes have to resort to buying, so rest assured it's not just you..........

If you have a £20 that can do all that it's magic :D

    Technical help needed:

I have just started using the Blogger app for my Android phone. It makes it a lot easier to post as I don't have to connect my phone to the computer, upload pictures and then do a post but I don't like how it uploads the photos. When I posted from the site, you would upload a picture and people could then click on it which made it bigger if they wanted to see the detail. When I post from my phone it doesn't seem to do that - does anyone know if it's possible?

    Morning everyone,
It's dead at work this morning so I've sneaked on here! Hopefully be able to get on bl*gger too as I didn't get to look at many of your cards last night.
Flying Fresian - I have just got the blogger app for my new android phone but haven't tested it out yet. I will let you know if I find a way to do it so the photos enlarge when you click on them.
Hope everyone has a lovely day. x
