At least it means I can use all the cartridges I had bought for my old one that had to go back. I also purchased some cartridges for my xyron design runner, guess the bank balance won't be looking so healthy by the end of the week!
Can I ask a silly question please of you. is the design runner worth the money as i was watching it on ideal World the other night and had never seen one before and liked it but wondered whether or not i would use it. Kate :hello:0 -

Soma - I'll have to give that a try. When I was pregnant with Elliot we had that really hot summer - it was a complete nightmare - my ankles were huge - I remember I couldn't get any of my shoes on and collected Brandon from school in my slippers!!! Congrats on your DT appointment!!!!
Rainmac - Sorry Liverpool have just scored!!! Boo to you being a Man Utd fan - I'm sorry but they are the enemy in our house!!!! OH and b-i-l are watching the match upstairs and because they're watching it on HD they're a few seconds behind me - its funny listening to them when I know what's already happened. I've just sat down after making everyone bacon sarnies!! That's nice that Rusty managed to get out - I wonder what she bought????
RebekahR - hope you feel better soon - what did she poison you with this time?????0 -
Sorry Liverpool have just scored again - well chuffed - that's a happy OH for the rest of the day!!!0

Ha ha, my OH will be chuffed as well, not that he supports Liverpool but will be pleased that Man Utd are letting goals in:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Hello fellow card makers, I have just read the last 306 pages and a rather a lot of your blogs... I have them all saved, but I can't see how I can actually follow you. Do I need a blog too? If so, mine would be quite empty as I never get time to maintain diaries etc.
A quick questions for you all, are any of you going to the Stitch and Craft show in London planning to do any of the demos - if so, which are the best?
Also, you know the little images you have on your cards (dogs, children etc), are they stamps? prints? cut outs? where can I get them? I love some I've seen on your blogs but I don't know where to get them myself
happy crafting! I need make a 1st birthday card, should be interesting as I don't a number 1 or anything remotely 'baby' in my stash... I shall have to be creative! If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -

Most people tend to use stamps on their cards and then colour them in. You can buy stamps from craft shops. You would also need an ink pad and something to colour them in with. Or, there are digital stamps available online that you can buy, download and print yourself. Does that help? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

I asked the lady that was demonstrating them what the difference was also! She said something along the lines of the promarkers being permanent and the aquamarkers water based. The aqua markers in a different way also give a lovely effect, she was colouring in a rose at the time and it looked stunning so I decided in my excitement to give them a go although it was just the promarkers I originally wanted lol
