Yogi was on our short list with a couple of others but she ended up picking from the time it started as she wanted to go to Maccy Ds for lunch :rotfl::rotfl:
Work is still sh1te - had my 1 to 1 on Tuesday and was asked to basically justify my existence again and was kind of put on notice that they may be considering ending my working from home arrangement - boss wouldn't even look me in the eye while talking to me and kept checking her email  - will cost me a fortune in childcare and fuel but more importantly will lose 2 hours a day of the rest of my life although it hasn't happened yet. OH was very supportive and said if push comes to shove I can hand my notice in which gives me a whole new problem coz I work to keep myself kind of normal IYKWIM so can now have a look to do something else that I might actually enjoy but have no idea what???????? I'm deffo gonna stay till July but would rather stick it out till this time next year when our loan will be paid off. It's kind of watch this space at the moment.
Fantastic moment on Monday - boss to my supervisor - Chris (her boss) says you didn't take any calls on Friday (most of her comments start with Chris says or Mary says it's never her) - supervisor to boss I was on leave, you signed my leave card and didn't you notice I wasn't sitting here (right outside her office) Priceless :rotfl::rotfl:
Thank you so much, I always struggle to do a boy/man card, and when I saw yours I knew it would be perfect, as I had all the things you used.
Sorry work isn't great - i've been there too and it is no fun. Just stick it out until you want/need to. At least you have a supportive OH. Good luck looking for something else. There will be bigger and better out there for you. I left a horrid job in November, and managed to get another one (the second one i applied for) and I love it - no hassles or major responsibilities and from 10-3. OK the money isn't as much as I had hoped for, but we manage, and it pays for the occasionaly bit of stash:rotfl:.
Just updated my blo* with all the gorgeous card you girls sent me for my birthday. Thanks again
xx2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -

CT - Lovely cards on your bl*g too
Scatty Jan - Not forgotten your prize. Will sort asap
Flourgirl - hope you get to see your GD next week and enjoy posh hotel. Love nickname for ex DIL:)
Padster - Sorry work is still carp - hope things improve or you find something better - easier said than done, I know.
Rusty - Hope pain is easier today
Well Done Dragonllew! Hope Mojo returns soon.
All Mums on half term next week - Enjoy!0 -
Good morning to all you lovely ladies out there.
I'd like to say a big welcome to all the new ladies who have joined us lately - you will love it here but I would advise you not to click on tempting links if you want to remain MSE for long!
Melissa - I think Matilda/Tilly is a beautiful name - I think I joined here when you were expecting last time round!
Padster - sorry to hear work is so carp at the moment - hopefully you can stick it out until it suits you to go!
Louby - so sorry that you are still having problems with the school-hugs to both of you.
Rusty and Mary - tender hugs that don't hurt too much to you - and Wifey hope you feel better soon.
Rainmac, thanks for the pritt stick tip, I've got a couple like Mel covered with DST! ALso the card you made for Rusty was beautiful (well they are all beautiful but you know what I mean!)
Leia - I bought one of those photgraphy tents - it arrived yesterday and I can't wait to try it out!
Craftygranny - I don't envy you some of your family logistics but I would certainly rename you Supergranny (and mum and aunty!)
I heard last night that my brother is now in the UK back from Afghanistan for the last time every-I am so thrilled for him and his lovely family - must do a card for them all!
I also did my first Stampin Up workshop on Wednesday, I really enjoyed it, I think I might go down the class route rather than selling workshops, I'm more comfortable just spreading the joy of creating rather than flogging! I might do one of those clubs where people commit to £15 per months and then it's like a virtual party for someone each month, just need to work out logistics.
We've got a TD day here today, I've got 4 little lovelies oinstead of 2 toady - they are awfully quiet upstairs at the moment - better go and check what is going on!
Have a lovely day everyone.0 -
