There must have been a really bad accident near me :( about 15 emergency vehicles with twos and blues and have just heard the helicopter. Someones not having a very good day, poor things x DH went out about an hour ago and I had to ring to make sure he was ok and he was.

Artydoll love your gorgeous paper flowers, sorry about your car though, at least no one was hurt.

Rusty/ PepPop - yeah I'm constantly craving ice, I was the sam with Brandon and Elliot although I didn't have any cravings with Leo. It drives the OH crackers because I am so noisy - I tell him that he's got off lightly - at least I'm not sending him to the shops every 5 mins to get me something.

Rusty - Definately no more after this one!!! We've decided upon Matilda (Tilly for short) Jane - Jane is my middle name! Your OH does sound wonderful - my OH wouldn't have a clue what crafty stuff to get me!

Flourgirl - I can't believe its only 6 weeks too, its gone so quick - I think I've got everything that I need - just got to get my bag sorted now, although I normally leave that until the last minute.

Don't you go moving house again then, I think it was me who said new house new baby!! Gorgeous name, love Tilly, dont call her Tilda or we will think she has no nose lol.

I think I prefer my husband not to buy my stash cos then he would know how much it costs. Ignorance is bliss :) Although I do know he has had a look at all my saved email receipts lol

    Hello all :j

First off big hugs to Georgie and Rusty ((((((:o))))))

As for me, well saw boffin yesterday and seems this is as good as it'll get -me, the sticks/walking frame and wheelchair are now forever friends..........:o
Not the best news I could have but have to make the best of a bad job I suppose and not get too depressed about it.
Everything now has to be done through GP (part of Camerons Big Society is it I wonder?) so I have to see him to get referral to dietician and any spine problems I have and he'll sort it out.....apparently.

Still, not to be 'downfaced' I set to and made some cards this morning..............4 of them. One may well be MIL's mothers day card.......not sure which yet though.

    Keep busy and smiling:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Flourgirl - glad you like the name - OH came up with it. I know what you mean about the price of craft stuff - I don't think OH would guess the price of promarkers or a piece of patterned paper! Mind you he has a trainer addiction and it always buying computer games!

Mary - sorry to hear the news wasn't what you wanted, but I'm glad that you're staying positive - sending you hugs!

Dallam20 - great cards - love the bold paper on the first one![/QUOTE]

Hi Mellissa, the background isn't a paper it's just made using 2 sizes of circles, punched out then placed randomly on the card blank. It's the first time i've made this style of background and may have to try it on a grily card too :)

Just popped on to say a quick hello and try to catch up a bit.

    Couldn't believe this:

Sorry to snip you Melissa. Great choice of name! Matilda has been a sort of pet name that I've called all my grandchildren before they were born, I'd talk to them and say "How's Matilda today?" :D . Tilly is my cat's name but I do sometimes refer to her as Matilda. And I said if I was ever lucky enough to have a garden big enough to have chickens (and I wont ever!) then my first chicken would be called Matilda!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

Let's see what else I can remember.

Marg Thanks so much for the list.

Georgie Big hugs to you. Good on you for deleting the ex. Bin him for good!

Mary So sorry the boffin didn't have better news for you.

Rusty Sorry to hear you're in pain again.

Craftygranny Sorry you're not feeling too good. Carly's father sounds like a right bar steward. Two new grandbabies to look forward to, how exciting :j.

Artydoll Hope your OH is OK, so sorry to hear about the accident. Lovely flowers!

Flourgirl Sounds like you need a {{{hug}}}, hope you feel a bit cheerier soon. Seeing your grandaughter next week will certainly give you a lift.

I've caught up with the housework today and made a big pot of chicken curry, some for tea, some for the freezer.

No more news about mom. Her OT assessment was supposed to take place Monday or Tuesday. Not heard anything from my brother, no surprise there then! I rang the hospital on Saturday to be told they could only tell me she was medically fit for discharge. Couldn't tell me anything about tests or anything else, they weren't allowed. I think it's because brother is down as next of kin and no-one put me down as next of kin also so they're not allowed to discuss anything with me. I asked if it was possible to speak to her and was told "Not at the moment". I asked if that meant not at all or to ring back later. The answer was "You could try later". I came off thinking "Snotty c*w!" . They wont tell me if she's still confused so I don't even know if it's worth trying to speak to her or even if she's still there! Bl**dy brother!

That's my rant for the day over.

I wasn't in the right headspace to do my DGS a Spongebob card after all. Ended up going to Funky Pigeon and personalising one with his name and age. Quite impressed, especially as I found a 30% discount code :D.

    Hugs to everyone.
