Phew! rainmac, glad your little man is feeling better. I have bought 12 x 12's from Tesco's but some time ago, the one's I saw recently were on special offer and were three litre size but they won't take 6 x 6 papers, I've just tried. :(

Cricutters out there, I bought a pack of Create and Crafts 12 x 12 card stock they had on the club member gifty. It's perfect for the Cricut and cuts nice and clean, I've been having problems with cutting on different Bazzill card stock but this is perfect. It came with a pack of clear stamps that I will be putting up on CP as a RAK very soon with other stuff, it's time for a bit of recycling

rainmac - so glad DS2 is better, what a scarey thing to happen in the middle of the night. ((hugs))

Wifey - Hope all goes well on Wednesday.

Dragonllew - Thank you! I've got other stuff in shoe boxes never thought to try paper pads - will now have to go & sort a bit more stash :)

PONR - hope to have a little parcel in the post for you tomorrow - don't hold your breath tho' - mixed results.

Jazabelle - very wise words from Thrifty about DLA. I don't want to seem like a party pooper but please remember it's the help you need which matters to them not the diagnosis.

I think things might be getting a bit better here. MIL moved into a care home of our choosing on Friday and while we know it will take time for her to settle in at least she is safe and not being treated like a parcel by the NHS. I think we've seen the best and the worst they have to offer by way of care over the past 6 weeks. I know MIL wont get 'better' but am hopeful with a settled routine she will be happier. DH & I had what I call a 'PJ day' yesterday (but we were dressed! :)) catching up on our lives - even tho' I wasn't crafting it was bliss.

Now off to tackle the ironing...........

Wifey, I have a 12x12 RUB with my big papers and card in, it's absolutely full, I think I need another :o Off to have a look at Tesco site...

PONR, I'm not keen on my local Hobbycraft and have certainly never found any bargains :(

Well, after 13 hours continuous sleep, DS2 has woken up smiling and happy. Can you have 24 hour flu? Hopefully it was just a 24 hour bug.

Have a good day everyone xxx

I only ever buy from there when something is reduced or they have a sale on!!! I did buy abit when the sale started but now they only have a load of tat left!!!

Glad your little fella is feeling better today - can't be too careful with this swine flu doing the rounds again.

Thanks Marg - I will start making some more cards soon!! This might encourage me! The sock creatures are taking over my crafting life!!!! Glad to hear that things are abit better with your MIL - certainly less of a worry for you now knowing she is safe.

I saw a good blog last night where the lady used all sorts of textured items in her Bug with great results. I will be looking at everything now with a view to whether it will go through my Bug!!! She also used a silicon baking sheet with Fiskars Texture plates and got great results - I have some of these so will be dusting them off!!!!
