Thanks for the nice message on my bl*g. You asked where I got the image for my card. It's one of Lili of the Valley's Party Girls cute squares. They are £2.75 for 20 squares.

Hope this link will work - http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/acatalog/Party_Girls.html

Hopefully I am allowed to post this here.

Basically I am wanting to make some invitations for my 40th birthday. I do make cards and scrapbook but I wanted something quick as it is only 5 weeks to my party and don't have time to make them. I have been looking around for something easy which I can download and use (preferably free) and the only software programe I have is GIMP

Can anyone point me in the right direction please smiley006.gif

    TIA

CPS - I don't think you can - just found this in the FAQ. Not sure if it helps. Since you haven't got that many posts, maybe the only thing you can do is set up a new account, and start posting under the new one?
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

Another nag from a lurker lol can anyone point me to a site where i can download papers for free and other bits or do you need to pay for them all? And can anyone advise me on a cd for projects for beginners i love the creat and craft ones but dont really want to spend £20 a throw on wrong ones, im working my way through the blog page you lot are truly inspirational starting really slowly here as still need god knows what to start off lol swine flu over with now so i may just start a card sometime soon xxx karen.

You might find that "popular auction site" has some fairly good prices on craft CDs, or else buy one of the magazines that has free CDs on - Complete Cardmaking has one/two every month
Georgiegirl, left you a comment on your blog with the offer of some images if you're interested :D

I will take you up on that offer ta - PM to follow shortly

And anybody who wants a free boy digi stamp there is one on here
http://www.mcmahonfivedesign.com/store/store_results.asp?ShopByStyle=22&Section=Free+Digital+Stamps which I found by exploring one of the links posted further up
  • Evening ladies. Just a quickie from me as I want to craft, but still have a mountain of ironing to do :( My own fault as I've spent part of the afternoon making a digital scrapbook page - not sure I like it, more practice is definately needed!

Can I ask a stupid question from those ladies playing the pay it forward?? If you're doing swapsies I assume that you still have spaces for others?? told you it was stupid.

Also just a quick heads up (not that I'm encouraging spending of any kind), but Tesco have reduced all the large sets of Anita's Christmas stamps to £1 and they have some gorgeous paperstacks reduced to £1.25. And I know someone posted a link for the RUB's that store the 12 x 12 papers but I can't find it - please can I ask for new link - TIA

Rainmac - glad DS is better, DD gets like when she gets a temperature and often has her eyes open but doesn't make any sense and doesn't recognise us - it is really scary. Fingers crossed that your nephew puts in appearance in the next couple of days.

The- Wife - hope your op goes OK on Weds

Ali.b - LOL at your desk, my dining room table is invisible and I'm getting huffeed and puffed at!

CT - your welcome, just hope it makes sense! If you need anything else just email/pm me

Hello to all the newbies

Hugs to all that need them x

here's a link for the 12 x 12 boxes (7 litre) here, Kevin at Storage 4 crafts is very helpful and they've got 10% off when you check out. I think their postage is £4.95 however many you buy. I've bought 12 x 12's from the Tesco Direct shop, I'm not sure if they have them all the time. Our Tesco Direct at Chelmsford had 3 litre ones after the new year for £2.50.

I've just had a look at those links.............thanks.

I'm after an image of a pie or something like that.
I've got a blank kitchen plaque shaped like a rolling pin and it needs something on it with a pastry theme. Thought I could get an image and copy it on to the plaque then paint it. Where might I find one ?

Mary, I have a digi image of a baking shelf, it has a set of scales, mixing bowl and jug on it, happy to send it to you.
