Hi ladies, been MIA and trying to get back on track although not read all the back pages yet!!) - and found out won something - thanks for the heads up Padster - I have no idea what to choose though:eek: I've always liked the boy with the games consol controller that mo manning does and never got round to ordering it and wondering if she would be able to do something similar??? Or would it be cheeky to ask for something like that, when another designer does it???. Will have to get my thinking cap on.
Congrats to other winners :T
Did I see a post by Melissa as well??
Right off to read the last few pages xxx
You can only ask - she does a wicked line in penguins lol! She did mention some boy images a few days ago (not bears) so see what she says
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Thanks for the nice message on my bl*g. You asked where I got the image for my card. It's one of Lili of the Valley's Party Girls cute squares. They are £2.75 for 20 squares.
Hope this link will work - http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/acatalog/Party_Girls.html0 -
Cardpaperscissors - gorgeous card, love the colours! Is the sentiment a stamp or a die-cut - I think I might have to buy it!
Melissa,
The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley

Thanks for everyone's posts, my little man is back to his mental self and had a good day at school on friday. The bruise is coming out more and more so we keep taking photo's for proof.
I went to the range and hobbycraft but there wasn't much to have. The range didn't have anything on offer at all! hobbycraft still has a sale but there wasn't much worth having.People were riffling like mad i could hardly move in there.
I was happy with what i got though, just got a xmas stamp £10 down to £5 and a papermania the big one 200 sheets by clare curd.
The label said was £14.99 I happened to get the manager at the checkout and mentioned the WAS on the label i asked if it was then reduced.
It scanned at £14.99 but she asked me to show her the label and she said the £14.99 was the now price not the was price but as the label was wrong she would take 10% off as goodwill well 10% would only knock off £1.49 but she only charged me £10 :j for it so i don't know what she did wrong but i am not complaining.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -

And congrats to whoever has won whatever it is that they have won but would like to point out that none of us are losers so in my book that makes us are all winners.
And I'm really excited because i've sold 2 of my cards, and the ladies at my quilt group have asked me to take them in at the next meeting, and I've asked if I can have a table at the exhibition in September - which is going to be discussed at the next committee meeting.
Well done on your sales and possible future stall, sounds great x
Padster, I've just made a card with a new bear stamp if you fancy a look at my bloooggg x
Big congrats to the latest winners :j
Still no rainmac nephewMy brother is so laid back about it it's unreal, I was always the impatient one when we were kids and it seems that hasn't changed
My DS2 has been really poorly today, not sure if it's flu? I woke up in the night to find him shivering and mumbling, he was almost delirious. It was so scary. After about half an hour of us trying to talk to him he finally opened his eyes and said 'hello daddy, what's going on'. He's got a temperature, cough, runny nose and looks a poor thing bless him:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Rainmac - I managed to sort through a lot of my stash when I moved - it coincided with me buying some r.u.bs from Tesco so I use those. I've got 7 of this size:
http://www.storage4crafts.com/shopx/product.php?productid=350&cat=128&page=1
I use one for my 6x6 pads - they fit 2 pads across, then I use one for my stamps, another for embellishments, 2 for my altering and bind-it-all bits and one for stickers and alphabets. My last one houses 4 of these trays:
http://www.storage4crafts.com/shopx/product.php?productid=332&cat=129&page=1
and I use it for storing my 3d flowers (yes I really do have that many).
Then my Mum bought me one of these a while ago:
http://www.storage4crafts.com/shopx/product.php?productid=765&cat=152&page=1
this houses stuff like glue, DST, more embellishments and a few card blanks and bags, and my newly sorted ribbon.
All of this is hidden behind the couch!!! Then I've stolen 2 kitchen cupboards too which store my 12x12 papers and my tools.
Hope I haven't rambled on too much!!!!!
Wow, you are sooo organised, most of my stash is shoved in a cupboard, I really need to get it all sorted out properly. I need more boxes
Best wishes for Wedneday Wifey xxx:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Well Hobbycraft was a waste of time!! Still lots of 'sale' stuff there but it was lots of rubbish with silly prices on it. They will have a hard juob shifting most of it even if it was reduced to 10p! I bought a light box which was half price and a few christmas wooden toppers that were 49p.
rainmac - hope you little fella feels better soon. My mum has not been well today and felt fluey as well. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
Rainmac, that must have been scary with your little man, hope he feels better very soon.
Louby, good to read that your little one is ok, don't forget Batman and Robin are always on hand :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:j:jThe MSE collective have been at it again, well done ALL our fab winners :j:j
Reading about Melissa and her brilliant R.U.B's, Tesco Direct had some at half price a while or so ago, even pink and purple ones, they were 3 litre size. Some one was asking about storing 6 x 6 papers, not sure if it was Rusty? Really Useful Boxes have a 12 x 12 size and you should be able to get 6 x 6 papers in ok, will give it a go tomorrow, do a field test, Wifey.
PS no photos, my cover will be blown :rotfl::whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Rainmac hope your little one is okay
Louby glad your little one is alright
Congratulations on our winners :T
Rusty you have a PM
going to try and catch up on blogs for an hour or so0 -
Wifey, I have a 12x12 RUB with my big papers and card in, it's absolutely full, I think I need another
Off to have a look at Tesco site...
PONR, I'm not keen on my local Hobbycraft and have certainly never found any bargains
Well, after 13 hours continuous sleep, DS2 has woken up smiling and happy. Can you have 24 hour flu? Hopefully it was just a 24 hour bug.
Have a good day everyone xxx:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
