Thanks guys. I just had to tell you all - I'm so chuffed for him.
Rainmac was the tealight card easy to do - I was gonna make some as Christmas cards with cinnamon scented candles but I ran out of time, I thought they would be really complicated?
It was REALLY easy, the most difficult thing was sticking the box together that holds the candles (and that wasn't really difficult), I am definitely going to make some more of them x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Thank you everyone. I certainly will be applying again as soon as my letters come through from the consultants. I won't give up! Even if they keep turning me down, I will take satisfaction in annoying them instead."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0

I've got to sort out our cupboard under the stairs. It houses most of my craft stash and lots of other 'stuff'. I am struggling to find things so the time has come to get everything out and have a proper sort out. Think I may try it on Monday when the boys are at school. I think I need some more storage but until I work out how much I have and hiw much space it's hard to know what to look for. How do people store their 6x6 paper and card blanks? I have a 12x12 RUB for my big papers and sheet card but struggle to know how to store 6x6 paper? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I've just done a search on colouring pages - referee, and it came up with this. Is it any good for you. I'll keep looking but there doesn't seem to be very much.
Thank you so much! That's perfect. Why can I never find things when I look?! xxx"There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -

My mum is registered blind, she initially got turned down for benefit on the grounds that she was too able. She queried it and then spoke to the RNIB charity and they helped her complete the forms, she then got accepted. She didn't lie, just told the truth but worded things differently after speaking with the RNIB. It is outrageous that you have to go through it al again but I would recommend getting some help in completing the forms:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Rainmac - I managed to sort through a lot of my stash when I moved - it coincided with me buying some r.u.bs from Tesco so I use those. I've got 7 of this size:

I use one for my 6x6 pads - they fit 2 pads across, then I use one for my stamps, another for embellishments, 2 for my altering and bind-it-all bits and one for stickers and alphabets. My last one houses 4 of these trays:

and I use it for storing my 3d flowers (yes I really do have that many).
Then my Mum bought me one of these a while ago:

this houses stuff like glue, DST, more embellishments and a few card blanks and bags, and my newly sorted ribbon.
All of this is hidden behind the couch!!! Then I've stolen 2 kitchen cupboards too which store my 12x12 papers and my tools.
Hope I haven't rambled on too much!!!!!0 -
