Oh no Flourgirl - how awful! Tea sounds yummy though.
Those kitties are cute PONR
OAP - we have plusnet (Broadband from Yorkshire) as our ISP we used to have BT but they banned us coz we used too much bandwidth for a personal account so now have a business one with plusnet - no problems that don't originate from the BT line or from the cat weeing on the router and breaking it :rotfl::rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Tea was yummy Padster. Heating engineer had a cancelation for tomorrow lunchtime and he has a spare pump too
I got a £10 credit for my complaint to O2 about having to buy network time when I already have a contract for my mobile plus they gave me the top up as a voucher for my DILWe are on BT broadband cos hubby worked for BT for 37 years we got it free at the beginning but now we have to pay we wanted to try O2 with the mobile discount, but then we found out we can't get it in our area
So sticking with BT for now. Cat never weed on the router just in my best leather boots!!

OAP I'm glad you got your parcel
Woke up at 6.30am to a banging noise....the central heating pump!!!! never mind it was only -11* here so we have no boiler working and its freezing!!! Good job we have a gas fire and the dreaded emersion heater. Managed to get presents delivered today and buy the fresh stuff, the local market was closed so we had to go to ASDA and it was quiet, so DH was happy, he was more happy cos I only bought what was on my list
Beef casserole and mash for tea so that should keep us nice and warm, just hope the boiler man can come tomorow, we are waiting for him to ring us back.
PONR Fab little kitties
Oh my goodness -11 and no heating, I couldn't cope lol. Last night it was nowhere near as cold as that here and I slept with a dressing gown over my pj's, 2 thick covers over my duvet and a hot water bottle hugged tightly against me!!!!
We've just got back from Asda and it was packed and lots of out of control kids running around and nearly colliding with trolleys!!!
Good thing your heating is getting fixed tomorrow!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

DTB don't panic - it will work out:)
I'm taking the week off before Christmas next year. It's the working that will finsh me off this year. I don't finish until 12 noon on christmas eve.
However, have decided to travel down to my sisters on the 23rd rather than Christmas eve as originally planned just in case the weather is not great. I'll work from hers on my lappy on Christmas eve morning. Which is good on one hand but on the other - I only have tonight and tomorrow night to
wrap all presents
make some presents
pack

Padster thanks for talking me downHope your pipes defrost OK.
Off to make more cards - I've got an order for a Christmas birthday card to get sorted for Thursday and I'm gonna attempt an exploding card - wish me luck0 -
PONR - lovely sock kitties
Peppop & DTB - don't panic, don't panic (said while running around a la Dads Army:rotfl:). Next year I'm going to be a Scrooge and cancel Xmas - bah humbug
Flourgirl - hope your heating gets sorted tomorrow. Ours is on constantly - dreading the next load of bills.
Liz - hope you feel better soon. Mr Thrifty and I are just starting to get better after "reet propa 'flu".
OAP - hope you survive your snow. Tbh I'm fed up of the stuff now, time for it to be gone.
Hope everyone is keeping well. Tomorrow, I'm off to brave Tescos and then that is it - whatever hasn't been bought, stays un-bought, and the pennies stay in my pocket :T. Love to all, Thriftyxxx0
