Hi ladies! I'm sorry I haven't been around for so long - I've been so busy preparing for xmas, plus I felt a bit of a fraud coming on here as its been so long since I made something, then on top of that my laptop broke 3 weeks ago and I've only just got a replacement. I hope everyone is well and thsat the snow isn't causing too many problems!
I haven't got a clue what's hot and what's not when it comes to crafting at the minute - normally I like to know all about the new products that are coming out, the only things that I've bought lately are pressies for my secret santa swap. I haven't managed to post mine off yet as I'm still waiting for one thing to be delivered - I'm getting a bit worried now! My swap arrived this morning - thanks to whoever sent it - there was an absolutely gorgeous flower inside that was made using a drinks can I think, honestly its stunning!
I'll pop back on later - the washing has just finished!!!0 -

Afternoon!
Hope you're all keeping warm. Have just been to the school carol concert - was supposed to be at the Methodist Chapel but they couldn't get any heating on in there so was at the school instead.
Finished my wrapping off this morning fortunately everything has arrived apart from my contact lenses - glasses are so not an option in this weather I keep steaming up and can't see anything :rotfl: They have got an emergency pair for me in case they don't arrive by the end of the week (was really impressed when they told me)
Hope you get away ok Froggy was watching the news earlier showing all the people stuck at the airport.
I ordered myself a little pressie in case OH didn't get his finger out in time so have some new Nellie dies a set of nesties and some Hero Arts stamps to play with before xmasand I just won a voucher from Crafty Ribbons in the Friday freebie

Stay warm everyone and I hope this rotten white stuff goes away before my little bunnies fly in on Thursday.
Now I have a problem with the car and fingers crossed Mr T makes it through tomorrow otherwise we will be in dire trouble, Oh well! Never mind. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Hi all ,
What a terrible day here ,we've had bizzards most of the day,its only just stopped snowing from this morning.and now the temp has really plumetted.
Hope your all keeping warm, not many supplies in our local shops,my son had to go to 4 shops before he found me some spuds, lol, thats us sorted for Christmas dinner, thought I would be serving turkey with no roasties. Our local Tesco is out of most veg ,I really hate all this snow.,been out 1 day in the last 3 weeks.
Wont be seeing many of my family if this snow keeps on the ground.only one who can get around is my son in his 4x4
Keep safe and warm

welcome back Melissa:j
we have more or less decided not to travel but then keep thinking we are being too cautious and should give it a go. we have been to the metro centre today - 30 minute journey - and there is NO snow on the roads at all..but we don't want to get stuck on one of the many motorways we will travel on as the roads between us and Bournemouth look bad. I will probably still feel guiltysaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0
