Hiya - hope everyone is ok. We had abit of snow down here in the South West and everything ground to a halt! My mum and dad had to drive to Cardiff Airport yesterday and it took them nearly 6 hours instead of the usual 1 as lots of routes blocked or closed so they had to keep turning around and changing their route. Luckily they were booked into a hotel next to the airport for last night and although their flight was delayed several hours they are now airbourne!
Liz - hope you start to feel better soon. I have a cold also, it's keeps coming and going and my sister is off work with one also.
I'm still busy making sock creations and have got orders now into January!!! I've popped some pics of the latest 2 kitties on my homepage if anyone wants a nose!
Hope people are managing to get out and get their food shop done. My large acrylic block arrived today, took 1 week to get here, not bad considering the weather!!! Need to make a card for my brother's birthday but there's still plenty of time for that!!!

Artydoll I have your challenge prize wrapped up but sorry can't post it yet I do hope to get out before the new year.
Flour girl your parcel arrived, thankyou so much I have not used my craft studio before so will load it up and play. Please thank Willow for the beautiful card she sent with it.
After I finished all the christmas crafting I tidied my craft room and I found under all the stuff A Desk!!! I had not seen it for weeks but now I don't want to mess it up again ( I wonder how long that will last)
My internet connection is playing up again and I am seriously thinking of changing to BT wi fi instead of the tiscali broadband I have had for the last 15 years. Anyone got any pros or cons we dont have cable in this area .0 -
Wow, those kitties are soooo cute, well done, do you have a tutorial for them.x0

OAP We used to have BT broadband - their service was really good and if you ever had a problem they just dialed into your computer and fixed it. We changed to sky as part of our package cos they were a bit pricey. :money:
Don't know if this will cheer you all up but today is the shortest day - so I suppose that means summer is coming :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you're all staying safe and warm and not PANICKING about Christmas the way I am!!!!!:eek::eek: I am sooooooo not organised. I keep remembering cards I've not made, presents I've not bought and I've not even thought about Christmas dinner yet never mind went to the shop to buy it - oh and I need wrapping paper :eek::eek::eek: HELP!!!!0 -
**waves** from the frozen East Midlands or wherever I am
Only -9 when OH went to work this morning. I managed to get my car started 3rd go bless it so can get out if I need to although don't need to today or even tomorrow
The pipe from the sink in our downstairs loo is frozen solid as is the drain it goes down. Decided not to risk the washing machine as that runs into there as well and don't want to make an ice rink out of the drive :rotfl:
Made a couple of cards which I'll hopefully get listed later once I figure out how to gets pics off my phone
Peppop don't stress!!! As far as xmas dinner goes does it really matter what you eat - cards can get lost in the Royal Mail black hole - can't help with the presents but for wrapping paper you can always use brown paper and stamp on it - very trendy this yearI still have 2 cards that I forgot to post so they will just have disappeared en route and I'll send them next year (squeak!!!) :rotfl::rotfl:
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

LOL - I have the bug and love it's small size!! Mine keeps slipping on the table though as the rubber on the bottom has moved!
I have O2 broadband and it's really good. I've found their customer service to be excellent also and it's in the UK I think!!!! If you have an O2 mobile in the house you can get discounted rates. We had BT once and they were terrible. Customer service is based in India and useless and it kept breaking down all the time. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -
OAP I'm glad you got your parcel
Woke up at 6.30am to a banging noise....the central heating pump!!!! never mind it was only -11* here so we have no boiler working and its freezing!!! Good job we have a gas fire and the dreaded emersion heater. Managed to get presents delivered today and buy the fresh stuff, the local market was closed so we had to go to ASDA and it was quiet, so DH was happy, he was more happy cos I only bought what was on my list
Beef casserole and mash for tea so that should keep us nice and warm, just hope the boiler man can come tomorow, we are waiting for him to ring us back.
PONR Fab little kitties0
